1st upgrade I do!
A MUST HAVE! It's the first upgrade I do, huge improvement over stock Rancho on GMC 3500 with x31 package. Great ride, did not make ride too hard, great balance of comfort and improved handling

Highly recommend for towing
Great upgrade on my 2500. Took a lot of the bounce away when towing. Put these on all my pickups from new.

Much better Ride
Installation was a breeze on 2021 GMC 2500HD. Drivers front was a little more difficult due to wire harness over top of upper shock nuts. Ride is so much better than the old Rancho's.

Awesome Shocks
Originally bought Rough Country N3 shocks, and it was a huge mistake. Ended up pulling them out after 15,000 miles and replacing them with these shocks and WOW what a difference. They are well worth the money and wish I would have not tried to save a few dollars and went with these in the beginning. Highly recommend.

Excellent shocks for 2018 GMC Sierra Denali HD
Excellent shocks for my 2018 GMC Sierra Denali HD. Made it ride like a brand new again!!! Really like the color as well! A lot better shocks than the Rancho stock shocks!

Worthy change
I have a 2018 Denali HD 3500 SRW short bed with a 60 gallon aux tank in the bed, airlift bags in the back... That being said, I have a 24' pontoon boat, a 24' enclosed trailer for my RZR/ATV, an open deck car hauler, 30' bumper pull toy hauler, and an equipment trailer. I tow a lot. My truck pretty much always has a trailer on it or a couple thousand lbs payload of fuel and stuff/tools. The truck came with the Rancho deals and has ~70k miles. I proactively swapped these in because the old shocks were irritating and ride was fading. So install was a breeze. You need a pair of 21mm to take all of the factory stuff off and a 19mm or 3/4" to put the new fronts on. Install was for me, very very straightforward. Everything was very easy to access. The old shocks had ZERO signs of not being any good. They pressed out when unbolted, no leaks, no holes in the body, etc. Once they were installed, there seemed to be a bit more initial jounce/harshness, but it's just a more precise road feel which was nice in hindsight. The ride is more consistent and precise than the old shocks. These trucks just do not have much up-travel in the back. Speed bumps can find the bump stops pretty easily in the stock Rancho configuration, but the new setup has a much more progressive valving, which alleviated this issue for me. As the suspension compresses, there is more resistive force applied. The old shocks feel like there's a set valve rate and it just does it's consistent thing. These ones apply more valve as they stroke through the motion. This feeling is VERY comforting while towing the boat because the tongue tries to fly around. The new shocks bring the boat trailer under control where bouncing turns used to be pretty wild. I've not put the heavy (10k+) trailers on yet so no feedback on those, but those are usually tamed not by shocks, but more around the bags. The big trailer runs 40-60PSI in the bags which takes away all of the bounce. I will update the review if the heavy trailers change anything. All in all in summary, these shocks might not be worth the extra $ over anything else, but they're really good. There's no stunning-remarkable difference from the factory Rancho shocks I took off, but they seem more stable, better light-feel, better jounce control, better compression progressive control.

Good shocks, quite stiff
I've had them on my truck for 2 years now and they're still performing. They are pretty stiff for street driving and extremely jarring on speed bumps below 10 mph. Nevertheless, still a quality product. I don't do much offroad driving so I would go with the street series shocks if I were to do it over again.
