This has turned out to be much more useful than I expected. Originally got it for my hiking boots after a rainy weekend in the Peak District left them absolutely drenched. They dried perfectly within about 90 minutes. Since then I've used it for all sorts—trainers, gloves, even a pair of canvas shoes that got soaked in a sudden downpour. The adjustable timer is handy, and it doesn't get overly hot so you don't have to worry about damaging delicate materials. Solid little device that does exactly what it claims.

I bought this mainly for my son's football boots, which always end up soaking after weekend matches. Used it for the first time last Saturday and was genuinely impressed. The boots were completely dry in about an hour, and there was none of that stiffness you get when you dry them on a radiator. It's also very quiet—I left it running in the hallway overnight and couldn't hear a thing from upstairs. The fact that it folds away neatly is a bonus too.
