can’t say enough good things about this waterslide decal paper! From the moment I started using it, I knew it was going to be one of my favorite crafting supplies. I’ve tried several brands before, but this one really stands out for its quality, ease of use, and how beautifully it makes my projects turn out. Printing on the paper was incredibly simple — the colors came out sharp and vibrant, exactly how they looked on my screen. I didn’t have to fight with my printer settings or waste sheets figuring it out. The instructions were clear, and the whole process felt smooth from start to finish. If you have ever assembled a model airplane and used the decals, then you know how to use this decal paper. The instructions are pretty straight forward. It's high quality paper that produces very nicely colored decals. Just be sure to spray on some acrylic clear coat before you actually try to use the decal. Let it dry for a bit or the ink on the decal will run. Then like the instructions say, soak the decal in clear water for a bit and you can slide it off of the paper on to your surface. It only takes 10-15 minutes to dry depending on the size of the decal. I let them dry overnight just to be sure. I use the decals mainly to customize and personalize guitars. They DO come in handy with coffee mugs and Yeti cups (because those things have a tendency to grow little legs and walk off, have ya noticed?) The decals are SUPER thin so be careful with them when applying them. They're fairly rugged after drying as long as you spray clearcoat over them. In my pictures on the white Jackson, my name and the Japanese Kanji (symbol) were made 4 years ago. I sprayed clear acrylic Krylon on it and was a bit worried when I went on the road. The first year was constant playing on tour and you can't even tell. I'd recommend this and most other Hayes transfer products. With this product, they absolutely nailed it, but the brand overall gets it right.

Very easy to use

Works fine even without using a printer for whatever you want to put on the decal. I used permanent pen and paint pens, then a couple light coats of clearcoat. Let dry for a day and they applied nicely, just follow the instructions. Im using this for a custom guitar headstock logo which will get clear-coated again so it should last for a long time. And yes I could have ordered some waterslides from somewhere online but the cost and formats they all want was a hassle and to much $ IMO.

Faaaaaaantastic! Worked perfectly!

Unless your use is limited to dark images placed on white or light backgrounds, don't waste your time or money. This decal paper seems reasonable in terms of application, and may work well with thermal transfer (ALPS) printers but it DOES NOT WORK AT ALL with laser printers when your background (object) is dark. The printed image looks good while the decal is on the white backing paper but literally DISAPPEARS when the decal is placed on a dark surface. Even when using 'bright' colors such as yellow, or even white. If you're printing a dark image and plan to place it on a white surface, they may work for you. Otherwise I'd stay clear.
