It’s perfect, there was no light over the sink in the house we moved in, didn’t want to deal with hiring an electrician so this worked out perfect. Quality is great! Very happy with brightness and price.

Gorgeous! Absolutely love them. Easy to install. Warm beautiful light. Not super bright with a 40W bulb. A little smaller than expected. Cord length is great. The pulley and cord look expensive.

Amazing exactly what I needed and now I can read my books!

Fixture #1 - 5 stars: Beautiful old fashioned farmhouse amber glass and wood pendant light could also be mounted closer to the ceiling to function as a ceiling fixture. Will be function beautifully over our 1940's double drainboard sink in our vintage styled butler pantry over. The thick black cord is approximately 70 inches long to accommodate tall ceilings. The light was expertly packed by the manufacturer for shipping. Scant diagram instructions. A newbie would need more but this is pretty straightforward for an experienced person. UL certified. In the $45-55 price range, this fixture is a good value. ~~~~ I didn't know that the two fixtures were considered variants and could not have independent reviews ~~~~ ---- Pendant #2 is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 ---- Pendant #2 - three stars: We also chose what we like to call "the mushroom" pendant light. The sculptured glass is five star beautiful. Lots of swirling of various hues of brown within it. One side is up like a ladies skirt being lifted. We have a mushroom farm and love Mid Century Modern. This particular fixture goes with both. Combining it with a twisted cloth covered cord and brass light socket gave a very vintage feel. It was packaged Very Well by the manufacturer. But again: scant instructions. The diagram is easy to follow, but doesn't cover making the connections inside a junction box in the ceiling to prevent fires. In fact, one of the videos I watched that was put out by the lister about one of these fixtures showed mounting the silver bracket to the ceiling and then making electrical connections right there on the drywall without a junction box. YIKES Then.... I went in search for electrical safety certification. That is when we ran into a Big issue. I could not find any safety certifications anywhere on the fixture, in the item description, on the box or the instructions. Also, I honestly question whether the fabric covered cord is rated for holding such a heavy fixture. A lightbulb with a lightweight shade - may be fine, but this heavy glass sculpture may be an issue. Edit to add: I reached out to other listers who carry a similar (if not the same) cord/socket set concerning the load bearing weight it was rated to handle. They said 3 lbs. They all said “light weight shade” in their reply. The glass alone for “the mushroom” weighs about 8 lbs. waiting on the seller to get back to me about the safety certification and weight limitations of the cord/socket. I asked another lister that had a black coated heavy duty cord and socket. They stated their cord was rated to hold up to six pounds. Based on this information, I’m moving the stars down to three. While I am absolutely in love with the glass on the two piece mushroom as well as the vintage looking cord independently, I do not believe it is safe to combine the two. I would not recommend this particular fixture.

This lamp is so pretty. The shade is real glass. It's smooth and clear. The lamp is as shown in the pictures. The bulb base feels like real wood. It takes a standard size medium based bulb in the United States. The shade is removable for cleaning. It doesn't block much light so it really brightens up an area. The pulley and second bracket are real metal electroplated gold. They're decently made. I was a little surprised, with the heavy weight of the glass shade that there was no safety cable or chain, but there isn't. This was quick and easy to install. The cord is pretty long and thick. It has an inline switch that works fine. It plugs into a standard U.S. wall outlet.
