I have to admit, I bought this as a full grown teenager. Now, they say encyclopedias are for kids, smart people, and losers. But here I am. None of the above. Its a great book and especially good if you like pictures. Update: they asked me about the age of the person I bought the book for was...

My daughter loves the MCU movies and has a ton of questions. I did not grow up a fan of super heroes. This book helps answer the questions she has about the characters origins. The only issue is that this book seems to have been released before Endgane, so based on a few events of that movie, it is a little out of date. But that is a minor issue and it is still a great book. I still give it 5 stars. I can’t fault a book for a movie that came out after it was published.

My 8 year old son absolutely loves this. He has pretty much memorized every page. The book covers all the major marvel characters and a surprising amount of the various supporting characters as well, which is nice. For each character there is at least a full paragraph description and a few pictures of relevant scenes they are in. My only warning is that if your child gets this book he/she will end up knowing some major plot points and what happens to some major characters, before they see the movie. In my son's case it did not affect his enthusiasm for these movies one bit. He always has his book by his side when he watches a marvel movie and has the book turned to the appropriate pages.

Bought for 8 yr old grandson who love Marvel. He was thrilled to get the book & now that he can read it is even better. His mom said he had not stopped reading it since it arrived. Price is lower than other similar books + with great pictures & good info about the characters. Best of all age appropriate. Stay safe.

This is a great book that focuses strictly on the MCU. You can go through the book to review whatever you need to when watching the MCU. Pros: This has pictures to identify the characters you're looking for. Has good information on what the character is doing in the MCU. Book is very well put together. Here on some cons. There are missing sections and characters I was hoping to see in here. A major one is the section on the Captain Marvel movie side. It only lists Captain Marvel and Talos (the green shape shifting guy) and no one else. All the characters in the book are correctly identifies except Talow, in which it describes him as the villain, in which we learn he isn't. They also don't have a section for the Hulk characters. I was also sad to see none of the Spider Man characters listed, which may be a result of copyright between Marvel and Sony. Hulk and spider man are listed in the Avengers section. This is something minor, but this doesn't cover endgame. This book does contain spoilers, so if you are seeing the movies for the first time just be aware this book will spoil stuff for you. Overall, this is a great book to have.

5 STARS!!! BIOS OF THE CINEMATIC MARVEL UNIVERSE, NOT COMIC BOOK DRAWINGS THAT INTRO THE CHARACTER., ACTUAL PHOTOS OF THE HERO/HEROINES IN THE ROLES THEY PORTRAY GAVE IT TO MY SON AS A GIFT & WOULDN'T MIND HAVING ONE FOR MYSELF AS THE LATE GREAT STAN LEE WOULD SAY: EXCELLSIOR!!!

My grandson is a huge fan of Marvel superheroes. He really enjoys this book and all the info about the heroes, villains, and some of the lesser known movie characters. The pictures included are top notch. It goes through Avengers Infinity War and a has a tiny bit of info included on Captain Marvel

I got this book along with the Marvel Studios visual dictionary, and it was such a great combo! There are little profiles on each character (though there ARE a few missing, be warned), and some characters get two or three pages rather than just one. Of course the profile on Loki was what I got it for, and as usual it's always wonderful to see him. I've really enjoyed flicking through this so far. Awesome book!

Realmente es el producto que estaba buscando, es una relación de los personajes de Marvel muy bien organizada, con una calidad de impresión y de fotografía excelentes. Aunque está en inglés es fácil de entender. Para los cinéfilos de Marvel es un producto totalmente recomendable

Bought this as an Xmas present for my son in law who is mad about Marvel. Its great quality with lovely pictures and an overview of each character. He loved it.
