The FC2600 electric cold Fogger atomizes chemicals without using heat. Used in topical applications where chemical coating is needed for specific areas. it generates a Fog that can be controlled and directed, and treats an area with a light application of chemicals. Nozzle adjusts from light mists to heavy coatings.

Defogger works great I use it everyday and it has not giving me mechanical problems since I've ordered it the reason for the four star is the gasket where you feel the fluids leaked if you tipped the fogger. My other one I have Americare did not do this so I'm not sure if the gasket is faulty or the cap or what it is but that's my only complaint

Defective Fogger didn’t work for a month
I ordered this fogger for pest control July 28, I received it the first week of August and after using it maybe 6 or 7 times today September 24th 2018 it is not only broke, it is smoking and electric things are popping from it. Highly unsatisfied.

Great Unit
Very nice fogger. Easy to dial down to a "dry" fog. Would purchase again.

Apply disinfectant to ductwork, Concrobium to basements, permethrin to areas where insects normally hide.
I found this generally easy to use unless you have to carry it around since it has significant weight with the tank even half full. For my purposes the ULV (ultra low volume) fog setting is the way to go rather than power mist. The trick is knowing how to use one's chemical mixes. Also, one must take care to protect the motor and related parts such as the filter. For example, the unit should always be operated off the floor (maybe 12" to 24" off the floor is the best). All I've used it for thus far is to disinfect ducts. I used a Simple Green disinfectant product that comes in gallon sizes. But I plan to use Concrobium for some jobs. In the past I purchased Concrobium through Amazon multiple times in gallon sizes. That's a branded product. It stops mold by coating surfaces with a kind of plastic that's so thin it's invisible to the naked eye. But it's expensive, that's the thing about Concrobium. If using an ULT fogger it won't be too expensive. This Smith Performance fogger is the perfect thing for Concrobium jobs, will make the product go far.The Concrobium job calls for placing this fogger with the nozzle pointing up at one intersection of a corner with the ceiling and leaving it there very briefly, then repeating at each other corner-ceiling intersection. It's not like you have to hold it a move it around like a handheld sprayer, but instead set it to work and leave the room very briefly when it's in operation. Now another thing on Concrobium they don't tell you is you'll likely have to keep reapplying it. But if you do that, you're fine. It really works when used properly. But you can't properly apply it without a ULV (ultra low volume) fogger like this Smith Performance one. A handheld sprayer is not the tool for mold control. But insect control, this is the ultimate tool. Ever see a truck-mounted ULV cold fogger in action when it's fogging the trees to stop mosquitos? That's power, being able to apply bug-killing chemicals the ultra low volume (of the chemical product) way. No wasted residue of products that kill pests, safer for one's health. I've purchased gallon size container of permethrin mixes through Amazon. This is a chemical mix that you don't want to breathe and you won't be happy if you're in a room that smells strongly of permethrin. That's why you always want to use an ULV fogger like the Smith Performance to get the job done using the least amount of product. There's nothing complicated about this sprayer in terms of operation or maintenance. It's a tool to use ultimate low volume of product in a way that gets real small droplets floating into the tiniest crevices and crannies.

Very easy to use, a bit heavy to lug around, very versatile.
Good points: Versatile, easy to use, well made, holds a lot of liquid. Easy to aim.Bad points: Hose could be longer, it gets HEAVY after a while. Weighs around 7 lbs empty. No shoulder strap. If you're a landlord this thing is a must - I wish I had one years ago when we owned a couple of three flats. From left-over cooking odors to lice, this is great. I currently use it for pests in our garages, shed, and under our decks. We also have a lot of plants in the summer, plus over-winter many of them in the basement. I've used this to treat our plants outdoor and areas around the plants (although I can't find anything for Spider Mites.) Once the cold weather hits and I move the tropicals indoors, I'm going to try this for pest control. Occasionally we'll get an infestation on one plant and it can travel rapidly to all the plants - hand sprayers are a pain and there's too much over-spray. I expect this to be a lot better. One thing I want to try - have not yet - is see if this will spray soapy water since that's the only way to kill some pests.I did find it a little heavy after a while - there's no shoulder strap or a way to mount one, so you have to hold it in one hand while aiming the hose with the other. If you're not doing a lot of spraying then put in as little liquid as possible. I have wrist problems so this can literally be a pain. The instructions are a single sheet, several generations old and a bit hard to read.

Awesome pest control machine!
A very simple and easy to use machine for spraying the garage for all the little Florida pests and insects that like to take up residence and even greater for spraying the backyard for the over population of mosquitoes that are in love with us Floridians. I have used a monthly pest control company for over a year and I kept calling them back out since we still had issues that they just couldn't seem to remedy but after using this and doing it ourselves, the pests/insects in our garage alone is almost non-existent. In the backyard it's great for spraying the trees, bushes, and fence to help control the mosquito population since they do not spray over our neighborhood. This machine definitely could use a longer hose and will get very arm heavy the more you walk around with it but it's practicality and simplicity could not be more overstated.
