Rave 4X Mega Long-Lasting Firm Hold is one of those products that’s been around forever and has definitely earned its spot. This hairspray does. not. play. When it says firm hold, it means firm hold. The 5X hold would leave my hair crunchy, nozzle would clog and stop working, and was not the vibe. With Rave 4x hold, my hair stays exactly where I put it, even through humidity, errands, and the occasional “why is the wind disrespecting me today?” moment. Application could not be easier, mist goes on easily and evenly, doesn’t leave that heavy, crunchy helmet feeling, and the scented version is actually nice—fresh without being overpowering. I appreciate that it keeps style in place all day without flaking, and it brushes out better than you’d expect from something with this much hold. If you want a hairspray that’s budget-friendly, strong enough to survive an apocalypse, but still wearable enough for everyday styling, Rave 4X is basically the dependable best friend of hair products. The Rave 4X Mega Hold spray really delivers what it promises. It offers a super strong hold that lasts all day, even in humid climates thanks to its ClimaShield formula. I have used it for hairstyles that need to stay firm for hours and do not fall off, do not crush and do not leave that exaggerated "hard" appearance. The aroma is pleasant and not very strong, which is appreciated. The product comes out even, leaves no white residue and the hair stays in place without feeling sticky. In addition, it brings a good amount for the price, so it lasts a long time. If you are looking for a spray that really withstands demanding hairstyles or that keeps frizz under control, this is perfect. Highly recommended!

First off this hairspray smells SOOO GOOD i’d buy a perfume scented like this. It smells very fresh and clean! I bought this for either $3 and some change or $4 and some change. Either way it was cheap and hair spray is anything but! I just bought a new curling iron and my hair is naturally wavy and has some curls but never wants to hold ironed curls. So i bought this one and the Garnier Fructis for double hold. I haven’t gotten around to curling my hair yet so that’ll be the ultimate test on how well this works but i did do a slick back bun and lemme tell you. she was SLICK. I love how everything’s held and smoothed back but it’s not all hard and crusty. I didn’t spray a whole lot but you can definitely feel there’s hairspray in my hair but not visually see, if that makes sense. In the past i’ve used hair spray that made it look like something sticky dried up in my hair. This hair spray doesn’t make it looks crunchy like that. The bottle is huge which i wasn’t expecting for the price. In the picture it looked small but it’s actually not. It’s 11oz compared to my $9 Garnier Fructis 8.25oz. It also dries quickly which i like. And the biggest thing for me is that it doesn’t leave the white flaky residue that makes it look like you have hella dandruff! I just added a little bit to my hair to show in the pic. Also you can brush your hair right out after with no hassle and it leave its feeling super duper soft and smelling really good. It also makes your hair look freshly washed for your non wash days! I know i just rambled about a hairspray but some of the reviews didn’t give this brand justice! Could be certain hair types but it works for mine! I have thin hair but a good amount and it’s wavy/curly with no volume at the top but lots of volume at the bottom. That’s another thing i like, it gives my hair volume at the root. I’ve always disliked having no volume at the top so i’m thankful it makes my hair look naturally voluminous. Thanks for listening to my ted talk, highly recommend trying! Here’s an update;) I curled my hair twice. Once Just the front pieces and a few strands of my wavy hair to match my curls and the other was the whole pony tail. Both times my curls stayed all day!! My curls never hold when i iron curl my hair and with this hair spray they did!! I didn’t have to load my hair up either! I just sprayed my whole pony tail a little before curling them, each piece a little spray after, then one final little spray when done!

The hair spray is highly effective at holding my hairstyle securely throughout the day. It maintains a natural look without making my hair feel stiff or sticky, and it has a pleasant, light scent so that is definitely a plus.

Best price for, in my opinion, the best Hair Spray. Love the smell, not overbearing, perfect hold for curly, frizzy, hair in all weather!

Originally bought the travel size of this hairspray from Walmart and they didn’t have the full size, so I found it here to purchase. Love it so much. It actually smells good unlike most other hairsprays. It has a strong hold without having your hair getting hard or sticky. It’s even great just to fight off little flyaways or the humidity. The quality of this spray is excellent and it also dries super quick. I will continue to purchase this item as needed.

Great product that works really well, has a nice clean scent and is at an affordable price that doesn't break the bank. I highly recommend this hairspray for everyone in the family.

This hairspray reminds me of classic 90s hairspray. It goes on thick and has a strong scent, but it definitely does the job. You don’t need much to get a strong hold, which I like, and the price is fair for how well it works. If you’re looking for serious hold, this is a good one.
