I wasn’t sure how much of a difference a shower filter would really make, but this Millford Vitamin C Shower Filter absolutely surprised me. Installation was super easy (took just a couple minutes), and right away the water felt less harsh compared to what I’m used to with hard water. After just a few showers, I noticed my skin felt less dry and tight, and my hair has been softer and easier to manage. The green tea scent is also a really nice touch—clean and refreshing without being overpowering. What I like most: Easy install, no leaks Water feels noticeably cleaner/softer Skin feels less irritated and dry Hair feels smoother and less “crispy” from hard water Green tea scent is light and pleasant Overall, this is one of those products that actually delivers what it promises. If you have hard water or notice chlorine drying you out, this is a great upgrade for your shower. Highly recommend!

Update: This filter only remained active for two months, and that's with only two people in my household. The claims that it lasts up to 6 months are very dubious. I ordered another one, because I liked this one quite a bit, but if this current version only lasts two months, with only a household of two, I would not reorder it again. This item comes as a plastic tube-shaped bottle, with screw-on threads on both sides, so it can be attached to a hand held shower head. It's very easy to attach, taking less than 5 minutes. It smells very perfumed right out of the box, but when it's diluted into the water, the scent is much more subtle. The bottle itself, once attached is the actual filter, and it contains conditioning agents for your skin, including Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and vegan probiotics. It also, according to the seller's page removes chlorine and other impurities smaller than 5 microns. The only negative is that there is no indicator as to when it needs replacement, which the user needs to gauge based on sensing less skin conditioning and less fragrance, which is a bit arbitrary.

Skin care isn't my biggest strength, so I'll focus on a few other aspects of this product instead. First, the scent is strong, but in a good way. I have the chamomile version and as soon as the water is turned on, it's quite obvious. I'd say it's like taking a shower with a scented candle. Again, the scent is very pleasant, but if you are sensitive to smells, this is probably not the product for you. Secondly, this will raise the height of your showerhead. Mine is already on the tall side, so adding the shower filter raised the showerhead another 5-6 inches. Not a dealbreaker, but it has pushed me towards the back of my shower so that the water doesn't go over my head! Something to consider when thinking of this product in your own shower. As far as quality, the filter is easy to install, does not leak at all and does not change your water pressure. You simply get a nice scent and hopefully good skin!

I bought this vitamin C shower filter in the forest scent, and the fragrance is way stronger than I expected. If you’re sensitive to smells, this might not work for you. I was hoping for something earthy, but it just smells synthetic and chemical-like. I was excited because it includes vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and olive oil things that should help with moisture and reducing chlorine (vitamin c). We have very hard water here, especially in winter, so I’m hoping it helps. However, having hard water means having to switch out the filters sooner because the life span is shorter due to the minerals. That’s the issue I have here with the filters. Setup is simple, and it attaches right to the shower head. I haven’t used it yet because the scent is honestly a little overwhelming straight out of the box. I’m hoping it fades once the water runs through. They say it lasts three to four months for a family of four, so as a single person, it should last longer. I’ll update after I actually test it. Right now my biggest concern is the smell.

It offers good value for money for those seeking a noticeable upgrade to daily showers.

What I love: The way my skin and hair felt afterwards. It felt like I was being showered with conditioner. My hair felt so soft and I was almost confused by how soft it felt. I blew out my hair after the shower and my hair was silky and I did not even need to apply fly-away cream. Installation was easy - screw it onto the showerhead while you're on the ground first so you can do the heavier/more difficult part without shoulders above the head. What I did not love: The chamomile scent was so strong when I first started the shower the first time. I can't tell if I have gotten used to it or the smell truly dissipated but I did not like being overwhelmed by a smell, even though the smell was lovely. There is a small leak and I can't tell why. There is no gap and it screwed on pretty seamlessly. I did not wrap tape and it did not come with any. The package says this will last about 45 days or so. I will certainly keep ordering this because of how my skin and hair look and feel.

I had never heard of such a product so I was not completely sure of how it worked when I found it on my Vine feed. However, I've rarely met a body care product I didn't like, plus I love to try anything new! Unfortunately for me, in order to use this amazing smelling product, it must connect to your HANDHELD SHOWER HOSE. So if you only have an overhead shower like me, then this will not work. I went back through the description & photos and I don't think it's very clear about what is required to use this properly. In fact, in 2 photos it shows a round white attachment that looks like it's included to attach to the bottle. Maybe it is just me, and being unfamiliar with such a product, but unless I already knew what this was & how it worked, I'm not getting that info from the product listing. All that said it does smell fantastic. I've also been planning on adding a handheld shower head / hose attachment to my master shower to help with cleaning, so I look forward to being able to use this in the future. And maybe this will be a product I can't live without, we'll see! As far as the ingredient list (important since this is going on my skin) it seems pretty concentrated if accurate. It has an added colorant, which I would argue is not needed. No one can see a "colored" product as it comes through your shower. It doesn't enhance the product imo. Especially since it comes in a box so you wouldn't even see the actual product if you were shopping & making a selection in person. I unfortunately can't speak to how it affects the skin or how long this last. At this price point though, I would hope it last several months. I do look forward to being able to use it, and it may become a whole new category of beauty for my ever growing collection!

My skin no longer feels tight and parched right after showering, it's softer, more hydrated, and the itchiness has calmed down a lot. I think the vitamin C and moisturizing ingredients (like hyaluronic acid) really infuse into the water, giving that deep moisture boost they promise. Even my hair feels smoother and less brittle,no more chlorine-stripped dryness.
