That's it's a good product and it works fine.

This oil filter looks good, is well constructed and made by an OEM manufacture for Toyota. In other words this oil filter was made specifically for Toyota's parts supply for Toyota dealerships and possibly Toyota's auto manufacture plants. This oil filter looks exactly like the original oil filter that came off my new 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited made and assembled in Japan. The only difference is this replacement oil filter was made in Thailand and the original was from Japan. I've also compared these Toyota oil filters with a quality grade FRAM oil filter in FRAM's "Ultimate" line which I also trust on my vehicles. After some quick research on these two types of filters (FRAM vs Toyota) they both have some positive and negative things about them. The positive for FRAM is their "Ultimate" line of oil filters has an excellent filter medial that can filter out 99% or particles or anything greater than 20 microns. The negative for FRAM is this filter media is not well constructed inside the metal housing like you would find on the Toyota oil filters which the filter media panels are better constructed. The Toyota oil filter media specs are not listed anywhere and under a microscope seem to show less of a particle blocking capability than FRAM's 20 micron rating. There are some other differences between these two brands of oil filters, but the main difference is Toyota oil filters are better constructed and FRAM oil filter can filter better, if that makes sense. So it's really a toss up between FRAMs Ultimate line of oil filters and Toyota's OEM filters. Both are very good filters in my opinion. If you change your oil around 3000 miles than I would use the Toyota oil filter, and if you change around 5000 to 7000 miles I'd use the FRAM.
