I was able to put it near the opening and run a duct to the other end of the crawlspace that has 2 separate areas. The tubing went right downhill into a sump pit. Under my own house, I was able to get a pump so it would pump the water to the sump pit since I didn't have enough grade for the hose to drain. It was easy to run the wire for the control pad through the floor and mount it on the wall in both places. I like that it gives a temperature reading and a humidity reading. The client I installed this unit for appreciates the temperature reading so she knows when to plug in her heat tape. Her unit has brought her humidity from 71% down into a healthy range of 52% in her 1000 square foot crawl. She has not heard the unit under her house and I haven't as well. The duct boot that bolts down your strip the bolts before your close to even screwing them all the way in about half way screwing they will strip threads. Delivery guy will drop it off upside down with damaged box. This is all before I got to turn it on.
