This thing looks very nice, and feels even nicer! It’s beautiful, and very easy to use. However, it is difficult to grip at times, especially if your hands are wet or moisturized. There are two clipped corners to allow for optimal grip location, so that is a much-appreciated design feature. Nevertheless, the smooth glass edges can make it tricky to get a consistent, sturdy grip. I wear nitrile gloves while using it, so that I feel more confident in the hold I’ve got on it, especially over a hard surface. So, keep that in mind. That being said, though, it is far more aesthetically appealing, user-friendly, and gentler than the traditional pumice stones or foot graters.A protective storage case would be a great addition to this item. I saved all the packaging and have been placing the file back into the plastic packaging tray and then placing that tray back into the outer plastic packaging box. Something similar to a travel bar soap container or a retainer case would be perfect (slimmer, of course, to fit the file)! The storage case with drainage holes for drying would minimize the risk of breaking the file during cleaning, drying, and storing it. For the current price point, I personally think a reusable storage case should be included.All that aside, my only real concern, and the reason for the current rating, is that my feet actually felt and looked dryer and rougher several days to a week after the first use. I realize this may be due to my own user error, as I followed the exfoliation with my usual moisturization regimen. It is reasonable to assume I should have taken extra steps to protect and care for me feet immediately following the exfoliation, as the delicate, softer skin was exposed. So, I am going to try it again, this is over-moisturizing and wearing plush socks for the few days afterward. I will update my review with my new results!Overall, I currently recommend this foot file. I find it to be worth trying out, and is a better alternative to the more abrasive methods. I have included photos showing the packaging and tray in which I keep it stored, as well as close-ups of the smooth top size and gritty underside. Hope they help!

Omg this product is nothing like I ever tried for dry cracked heels. I wish I took a before picture. It’s glass and one side has little raised grids that when you massage to dry heels it shaves your heels and release such fine powder from your heels which is your dried skin. The dried skin turns into fine powder like very expensive translucent face powder. After you just rinse the tool and feet with water and end up with baby soft heels. I first saw it on Instagram was skeptical what a piece of glass could do. Any I only take my time to review exceptional or lousy products so that buyers can be aware. No brush or pads to replace. Just simply an exceptional product that works! Just make sure to take your time and slowly massage your cracked heels until you feel it’s done, don’t rush it especially if you have a lot to scrape off.

The only thing I would improve is to add a handle somehow -- it is not really comfortable to hold it in hand. Otherwise it's the best callus scrubber! It reminded me the difference between nail files: the glass diamond file is the best, so is this glass callus remover. Hope it won't break fast, since it already slipped from my palm the first time I took it --> hence, I would not recommend to use it in the bathtub.

Oh my God. It works! I have been suffering from callus for twenty years! I have tried many mamy many many many many many products but nothing was as good as this little piece. It removed my callus without any skin damage! Wohooooo my feet are soft wooooooooo hooooooooo

not what I expected. It just smooth the feet not the hard skin+ this seller hide my review. I just found it 3 month after. Literally I am not using it because It does not get rid of the thick dead skin.

Be patient when u using it, doesnt come out 2-3mins. It works well but hard to hold it well..

This product is small, but mighty. It truly gives you a smooth feeling unlike any other foot file. Be careful, it will slip out of your hands.
