Update April 2026—- I just added a picture of an outdoor fixture that looked really bad Took it apart cleaned it up and yes spray painted it with this product- Color - Black Elegance - which is really a dark gray - however I love the color - It blends in well with my old house - anyway I painted this lamp over 4 months ago - still looks great - no paint chipping off and I hardly did any prep other than a light sand to remove any loose rust on the Old Fixture! Original Review— The Paint is great and looks great - but it was not as Black as I thought- I used it to paint some old rusty hardware on my interior garage door - it blends in really well - but it is more of a dark gray.

I bought this paint to repaint some metal side table for our deck. It covered the previous paint beautifully and was easy to use while having a nice finish. There is a slight shine although not much as it is a matte paint which I love! The novel worked well and the coverage was perfect. This was much cheaper than buying at our local hardware or big box store. The paint is durable and has not had any issues with adhesion since I painted my tables.

Perfect color for Amish style or pioneer style furniture. Excellent quality paint and coverage. Satin is fine. Would have preferred matte but it's not available.

The first picture and color is elephant gray. I love the color. It is kinda a greige. It seems pretty durable. I used it over a navy blue and it covered well. I got 2 cans for 2 metal chairs. Used 1 can per chair. Probably should have gotten 2 cans per chair as I didn’t have enough to flip the chairs over and paint the underside. I took off one star because the nozzle gets hard to depress. Otherwise, I would recommend this paint and color. The other color I got was peppered pecan. It was not as dark as the sample color in the description. It is a nice color. I used it on wood. Should have primed it first. The wood grain definitely shows through. It too was hard to depress the sprayer. The first picture is the elephant gray on metal. The next 3 are the peppered pecan on wood. It was a cloudy day but I highlighted the leg where the sun hit it. I also included a picture of the peppered pecan on a stir stick. I used 2 cans on the wood bench. I was prompted to write both reviews in one.

Good paint

I’ve tried so many different paints. This paint was the closest to Terracotta as you can get. Matched my Terracotta pots almost perfectly. Sprayed great, no drips.

Finally! The right color of paint to make plastic pots look the color of terracotta/clay. Perfect. So glad I found it. It’s easy to use, sprays well and makes your dollar go farther when you can buy cheap plastic pots and make them look like real terracotta.
