Unreal !! Great value for money, has kept me so organised, so light and easy to carry around. Good quality paper ink does not bleed through at all.

Great budget journal
Now, I usually go for journals with thicker paper -120gsm is what I look for - but a lot of branded / fancy / expensive journals do have 100gsm paper like this one, so I thought why not give it a go? It's got all the features you'd expect from a dot grid journal - a couple of ribbon bookmarks, an end pocket, a pen loop, elastic band closure and a few extra sticky tabs as a bonus tucked into the said end pocket. First I tested a bunch of different pens on the back page, as you can see there is ghosting on pretty much every colour that I used, but the only one that property bled through was the alcohol marker (and of course it would, they bleed through all except specific papers or thick card, so that was a given) So, if you are planning on using just the white page and pens, it probably isn't the best option. I would suggest going for something like a 120gsm paper. But, alas, that isn't me. I like to paint my pages (specifically watercolour paint) and as you can see, it actually holds up well. I wasn't sure it the thinner paper would be a problem, but it took the paint brilliantly. And the extra colour on each side helps cut out any potential ghosting of pens. (As you can see, the 'a' in arctic is on the page, but you can't see a thing on the other side) There are a lot of pages (another thing I look out for!) so it will last a long time. All in all, a decent journal. You won't get bleed through with most pens, but you will see heavy ghosting (being able to see what you've written/ drawn through the page, if you're not familiar with the terminology) Try using paint like me to combat it!

Great product. Really high quality. Thick pages. Well laid out. Nice feel and quality of the outside cover as well. Additional option of page numbering and date is super helpful as well. Will definitely be buying again.
