It's comfortable, feels rock-solid with the Switch 2 in it, and it docks really well without putting any stress on the dock. Unless I need one of the JoyCons for mouse functionality, I don't really see myself taking my console out of the grip, ever. The little clip holding the console in the grip has a locking mechanism instead of a click-in tab like it used to, but I don't know enough to say whether this is better or worse than it used to be. I'm seeing complaints about the quality of the product that I think are pretty overblown. It doesn't have to be super rugged or durable when it's not connected to the console... because it's meant to remain attached to the console. That's the whole point behind it being dockable. When the grip is attached, it feels solid and has no flex whatsoever. Having less weight is also a plus because the Switch 2 weighs literally over a pound and shaving down on the additional weight you're holding is a plus in my book. My one complaint has to be that the smallest set of replaceable grips (the Snap Grip) does basically nothing. They're small and portable, but at the cost of being so much less comfortable than the other two (but still way better than the naked console). I had them for both my switch lite and oled. Those were both fantastic. The switch 2 version doesn't feel quite as sturdy. Not flimsy but still not quite as well made. If I was taking the grip off semi frequently I would be concerned about the locking mechanism breaking (but I'm not planning on it) The snap grip is pretty much useless with adult sized hands. The trigger grips and plus grips are more comfortable. The trigger ones feel slightly small in my hands, the plus grips are the right size but not as comfortable.
