How to avoid scratch and chips in its corners and surface?

Please handle with care as capiz shell is delicate and prone to scratching from abrasive objects. While durable for daily use, strong impacts or drops can cause it to crack or break.

Is there any noticeable odor from the tray?

You may notice a mild scent from the lacquer finish upon arrival. This is normal, completely non-toxic, and will naturally fade. We recommend letting the tray air out in a well-ventilated area for a day before use.

What are the tray’s real-life dimensions, and will it fit larger items?

The tray measures 15.8" L x 11.8" W x 2" H. It can easily hold standard 11-inch dinner plates, bowls, and mugs; however, we don't recommend placing items that are too tall or unstable. Please check these dimensions before purchasing.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Simply wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives. Do not soak or submerge in water, and wipe dry immediately if any liquid spills.
