This is a good USB-A to USB-A cable, it's male to male so it's a bit unusual and rarer as it's not a common type of cable. The connectors on both end are metal, and the cable body is high quality braided nylon, it looks and feels very durable. There are very few devices that need a cable like this, it's usually legacy devices such as my old Zalman laptop cooler that need something like this, and that's where I have this connected. It's been working very well for that purpose and I love the extra length this cable has over the stock one I had been using for years. I think $9 bucks for this is a fair price given its quality, I would be fine recommending this cable to to others who need a cable like this, these cables are harder to find usually so it's nice that there's a high quality option like this one!

I prefer a braided type cable if only because one of my insane cats is obsessed with anything that in cable like. He is part Mao and has an usually strong urge to kill anything he thinks is a snake. For some reason he doesn't "kill" braided cables or cords. I got rid of my electric blanket because I was afraid he would electrocute himself or burn my house down chewing on the power cord. Since e he decided he is exclusively an indoor cat, it is a challenge hiding cable and cords from him, and I picked this cord for that reason alone. I was happily surprised who well this transfers data and power. A thicker cable is always nicer as it harder to break accidentally and easier to find when dropped or misplaced. I feel like a braided cable is more durable and flexes batter than a plastic coated cable that can crack. I would call this a perfect cable if it had some kind of light indicator which another braided cable I own does, as the light tells e it is fully plugged in and working correctly. There are many length options, thought like any device that uses power the longer than cable the more signal or power loss. This seems like an above average quality cable for a not too expensive price, so I would buy this again.

This USB A to USB A cable works as described. It is 6.5' long, has a braided sheath, and comes with a small velcro strip to wrap it. The cable does not feel cheap or light. I have a PC monitor that connects via USB A, and this cable works to power and connect the monitor to my computer. I do not believe this cable is capable of connecting two computers together for file transfer. That requires a cable that is wired differently. This is a pretty decent quality cable, and it is not overly expensive.

This cable works as it should with high speed data transfer from an external Hard drive (using USB-C to A adaptor) and the main reason i got it - from a computer to KVM switch. Nice feel and seems solid. It powers an external hard drive fine but i have not tried charging a phone or anything as that’s not what i needed it for. if your USB port has power delivery then it should work fine..

It's well-made, has a sufficient length, the braided cable is durable and can withstand breakage, the transmission speed is stable and reliable, and the price is reasonable. It's excellent!
