Be carefully sliding together as they are tight and edges thin although not razer sharp. I used my finger but pressed gently. Use firm surface to align vertically not a wooden table as could damage the surface due to metal thinness. Tape well to surface so there is no bow to ensure paint is not blurred. I bought two sets as letters often repeat. Still had to overlay previously painted letters after 24 hours dry time to finish.

They did the job if you are able to tape them down properly. Def wouldn’t buy again but they are nice to have

The letters were wrong font, box inside of the package was destroyed when I opened it and half of the stencils were bent up bad enough that they’re pretty much unusable.

Redoing lettering at pool decks and marking fire lanes on property, they had half a set of frazzled cardstock stencils that you had to manually space and tape down. I hadn't heard of anything like this before and won't be going back, these autospace off the locking edge and rinse off easily after painting! Wish I'd bought these years ago, best quality stencils I've ever owned. Will last practically forever, and saves time in the setup. Excellent value in saved labor and replacement stencils, would buy again in a 3" set.

Great interlocking BRASS stencils at a good price. These slide together securely, and should last forever, with care. I've used paper/cardstock stencils in the past, and they wear out too quickly and don't maintain sharp edges. I didn't find any flaws in the characters, and they're of quality.
