It had a pretty strong chemical smell after opening, but it faded quickly. After a week of using these, I feel truly delighted! The smell might have been due to the packaging? It was actually well packaged and I love the small cotton bag the sheets come into. The fabric is very durable, thick and not see-through, bright white. It's also very easy to put the duvet inside the sheets, I LOVE the side opening of the cover!! For me who always struggles to put my duvet into its cover, it's a blessing! haha I'm very happy overall and we can see the brand is dedicated to providing the best customer service. The cards coming with the sheets are lovely. But I would deeply appreciate it if you could print cards that are not layered with plastic and chemical ink. I am sure there are more eco-friendly paper cards that you could use. The more sustainable and non-toxic/natural it looks, the happier the conscious customers are.
