This is just fantastic. I was looking around for standing desk frames, and while I have never had one before, I was skeptical on what is good and what isn't. I was attracted to this one as offered, and thought I would give it a try. It was practical and seems to be good value. Upon first impression after opening the box and pulling out the contents within, I thought that this was very well made. Everything seemed very robust, strong, well made, well painted, milled, drilled, etc. Everything about this seemed to be par or above "Good" quality. I would venture to say that this is actually phenominal quality without any regard to the pricetag. This exceeds that even more given the cost in contrast with the quality. EXCEPTIONAL. The whole desk was put together by myself without any help. It was easy, practical, and the instructions/diagrams included were easy to follow and understand. This included the allan wrench tool that allows you to bolt the desk together. Everything is included to get you going, minus the table top. This is where it delayed me from building because I had to aquire a quality tabletop for this. This comes with EVERYTHING you need as I said, including the screws that you will be using to mount the tabletop to the frame. I used a small drill bit about half as wide as the mounting screws (the pointy ones), and this allowed me to get the screw to drive into the tabletop much easier. Got the tabletop positioned and balaned/even, and screwed it down. It was nice and firm. Table was nice and steady. The table top I had was actually fairly long and I was worried this standing desk frame would not be wide enough. I was wrong. This frame could go wider than what I need. It accomodated very well and is extendable to fit my long table [about 6' x 3']. The functionality of this table is very straight forward. There is an included power supply, which is like a wall plug brick, and there is a control module that hooks into a motor that has a rod that turns and syncrinizes the other end. Everything plugged in, I am able to press the UP and DOWN arrows on the controller to raise and lower the table. You need to hold it down for about 2 seconds and it will gain momentum and start moving faster. There are 3 presets. You adjust with the arrows to where you want, and press the "S" button and one of the preset numbers to assign the position to the preset. It's super easy. You press the button and the table goes to the height of that preset. The travel sound of this is fairly quiet. You can hear it but it's very subtle. Love it! The weight of this is fairly hefty. Everything seemed fairly weighty and sturdy. This is great and balances out the very top-heavy tabletop that I am using. There are some extra bins you can attached to the side of the desk. Might be nice for office workflows. Be careful that you have clearance in your travels with the height and depth of the table raising and lowering. I almost broke an old phone jack that I didn't see on the wall. This could do some damage if not careful of what you might be raising and lowing onto. I am inclined to installing some cherry switches inline to break the power flow if the table happens to hit them. This could be a "just in case" setup, but I figure if the table triggers it and then shuts off, it might get stuck, and might need frequent intervention. [Engineer thought process] Overall this table is EXCELLENT. The quality is great, and the value is even better. Don't hesitate on this one if you are on the fence. In all fairness this is my first standing desk frame that I've owned... but I am confident that this is a great value for very practical and simple features. It's not rocket science. Unfortunately the table top is not included, but this is great because I have a nice office tabletop that has no frame. PERFECT.

Very simple to set up - just add a top of your choice. The item was received in good shape. The height is very easily adjustable and is very quiet. The desk is remarkably stable. The low price for this desk is amazing by itself, but all of the features and build quality this is just a great buy.

While it's rated to support up to 176 lbs, I'm nowhere near that limit even when using a butcher block desk surface, but it's reassuring to know the frame is built to handle serious weight. The assembly process was straightforward and stress-free. The instructions were clear and easy to follow – I had everything put together in about an hour (just because I like to take my time), even though the manufacturer estimates 40 minutes. Once assembled, the desk performs beautifully. The electric lift mechanism is whisper-quiet, and the movement is smooth and stable. The smart controller with three memory presets is a game-changer – I can each save my preferred height and switch between sitting and standing positions with a single button press. I also appreciate the thoughtful organizational features: the built-in cable tray, storage bag, and hooks keep everything tidy, and the extended power cord gives you flexibility in where you position the desk. Since switching to this desk, I've noticed a real difference in my workflow. I tend to stand when I'm working on new PC builds or moving back and forth between workstations in my home office, where I also sit. This desk has been an excellent upgrade for my home office, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality construction without breaking the bank.

My business is creating architectural interior perspective renderings which are used by high end interior designers and architects for important client meetings.These individually take several long work days to produce-- drawing, layout and finally watercolor or opaque color. What I love and have now decided is the only way to work is that with this magical desk/drafting board frame I can sit in a regular chair, on a high stool or even better, stand. Having this flexibility is wonderful, saves my back and reduces fatigue. I can set board heights that I’ve found to be the best for me and recreate them with just the push of a button! Fabulous ! I’s almost silent in operation and the simple frame seems very solid and grounded. Easy to put together and is IMHO very well designed. I cannot believe the high quality for the modest price. I am loving it !

This was so easy to assemble and it went together like a snap. I have not had the opportunity to attach the desktop yet but I have raised and lowered the desk mechanism several times. It is so quiet, you can barely hear it moving and it moves smoothly. The description states it will handle up to 256 lbs of force. But I would find it difficult to get to that weight on an office desk. But hey, if you want to sit on it an ride up and down I would suggest you make sure you are under the weight limit. The finish on the desk is a bright, glossy white that looks great. The controls have several spaces to save varying heights for different users or different heights for the same user. This makes it easy to use with just the push of 1 button. I will update the review once I install the desktop but I find it hard to criticize it. The only downside is having to select a desktop, but that could be a plus considering the price.

The motor is fairly quiet, and the range of height is perfect for someone my size. It comes with a cable management tray and storage bag to keep things neat. The headphone hooks are a small but functional bonus. It feels sturdy once assembled, has decent weight to it, and supports my desktop without wobbling. Overall, it’s a practical choice if you want an affordable sit-stand desk frame.
