Essential piece of musical history
This album shows the development of the great mans talent, right from early home recordings to more polished concert quality. In truth it is aimed at the hard core Dylan fans rather than someone who wants to try out some Dylan music. I have recently been enjoying some of his later works and this was a nice trip down memory lane to recapture what is was that made me a fan way back in the 1960s.
