Perfect for Hot Wire Foam Cutter!
Bought this for a hot wire foam cutter build and it works perfectly. Couldn't be happier! Heats up quickly, durable while cutting and cools to the touch just as fast. 26 gauge seem to be the perfect size for cutting foam.

Works for my RTA setup
I did 8 wraps non-contact coil wrap. It was very strange because it shows 0.8 ohm resistance but it vapes very well at 40 watts.. Fast heat up and vapor production at 40w. Probably because the wire is very thin. The only downside is after I ordered this item and it was shipping, I found a credible research done by Kleinman MT, Vaping health impact.. He tested the effects of vaping with nichrome on rats at 70 watts.. It destroyed parts of the lungs permanently. He mentions that nichrome can be releasing toxic metals and other elements into the lungs causing devastating damage especially at 70w or higher. I've been vaping fine with nichrome for a couple of weeks now... But the test has me concerned.. Stainless steel medical grade seems to be good as mentioned by Kleinman. I took Kleinman's research seriously because it is peer reviewed and he is a professor of Environmental Toxicology. His research/test was peer reviewed by other experts and scientists in the same field.

With the proper power source one that you can adjust the amperage I’m able to cut 10 inch thick pieces of foam, I build foam RC aircraft and I can cut down to 8 inch thick pieces of foam and it works great good stuff

I use this in a bow-style hot wire cutter for cutting foam. So far it makes nice cuts.

Bought to make an acrylic line bender
I bought this because I was making a line bender for acrylic sheet. This wire is connected to a power source which heats up. You place the acrylic sheet over the top of the wire and you have a specific heated line to soften and bend the acrylic
