What Happens Next?: Shinsuke Yoshitake

I absolutely LOVE the illustrations here, and how the book is set out - it invites the reader to dip in and out, to take their time, to ride a wave of imagination and think deeply.I recommended this to a 9 year old pupil who had experienced a recent bereavement and she loved it, telling me it had really helped.

really engaging for my son who has struggled with death and what happens next. His anxiety was a lot less after reading this book.

Funny and clever first look at an important subject.

The book itself is funny and poignant - exactly what I hoped for when purchasing.However I purchased a new book but received a blatantly used copy. Even worse, the back of it was smeared with something like vaseline.I don't want to go to the hassle of returning it and reordering another copy, so I'll keep it, but would suggest better quality control is needed.

Shinsuke Yoshitake is our favorite new children’s book author, though it’s limiting to put him in that genre since the books are just as engaging, entertaining and thought provoking for adults as they are for little ones. He captures life in a way no one else I can think of. We bought all of his books within the span of a month and we read them constantly.

I truly recommend this book to anyone. I bought it as a gift for my friends who lost their loved ones. It sooth you when you think about people that you loose. There are lots of humorous parts all over this book.
