Why is it so smooth? It’d be perfect with a rugged or rubber base.
Maybe I have smooth feet and smooth sneakers or something but this doesn’t really grip at all. I tried standing on it with bare feet, with socks, with shoes, and with sneakers but regardless of what I stood on it with I kept slipping down. I needed a simple tool to perform static stretches with for my plantar fasciitis and this ain’t it. Maybe I need to get calluses on my feet or something but that material you stand on is as smooth as butter. Which for how much this cost is a travesty. To its credit it does seem sturdy as heck. I stood on one side and it didn’t wobble so I appreciate the stability it has. But what’s the point if I can’t stand on it?

Sturdy! Pre-Assembled, welded and ready out of the box!
This is a beast! It's very sturdy and has good weight to it but it's not so heavy it can't be easily picked up and moved. It doesn't wobble, the surface isn't slippery and it's perfect for calf raises, squats and stretches. I have limited room in my house and don't like exercise equipment out showing and this fits right under my bed. This is a great piece of equipment to add to your workout. I think it beats others because it's assembled. You don't have to do anything but open the box and use it! My picture is my men's size 11 shoe, just for visual of the size of the product.
