I wanted to love this little display but it's been a mixed bag. On the plus side, the screen is bright and clear, and the WiFi + BT connectivity is solid. Setting it up with Arduino IoT was pretty easy and I had it running in no time. However, the display feels a bit cramped for more complex projects. The resolution is okay but it's definitely limiting. Also, the ILI9341 driver can be a bit finicky and I ran into some compatibility issues with certain libraries. Overall, it's a decent display for simple projects and learning the basics of IoT. But if you're planning anything more advanced you might want to consider a larger, higher resolution screen. Three stars from me! good for beginners, but not quite there for more serious users.

I have recently been working on a small Arduino project at home, and it has become much easier after using this 2.8-inch ESP32 screen. The screen size is just right on the desktop without taking up any space. The 240×320 resolution display is clear and the debugging interface is clear at a glance. WiFi and Bluetooth are integrated together, making it very convenient to connect sensors for IoT testing. Sitting at the desk at night, brushing code and looking at data, it is particularly satisfying to see the real-time display, which is very suitable for daily learning and practice.
