ProCase for iPad 2012/2011 2nd 3rd 4th Generation Case (Old Model), Smart Cover for iPad 2/iPad 3 /iPad 4 –Navy

Good sturdy case, my previous identical one lasted a long time, so it was a relief to be able to replace it like for like.

My posh leather cover on my old iPad 2 was slowly disintegrating so I bought this plastic one for about a tenner from Amazon. It fits perfectly and the magnetic sleep action works as it should. All the cutouts line up and the quality is OK for the price. Makes an old iPad look like new- well almost!

So far, I like this case.Pros:lightweightseems to be decent quality - a bit higher quality than the Apple brand I originally had for my iPad, I'd say.reasonable priceCons:I wish this was slightly deeper - the edge of the case is level with the iPad edge, which means if this is dropped face down there's no protection on the screen. This is why I am not giving it 5*. Obviously, I'll be very careful with it, but if it were just a few millimetres deeper this would be the perfect case.

Really what it does. Basic iPad cover. All I need and does it well. Good value.

I don't normally write bad reviews, however, in I feel that it is necessary in this case because although on arrival the product looks excellent , very stylish and lightweight. It is therefore a shame that the product is just not durable enough for everyday use. I purchased 1 last year and had to have a replacement sent out to me after a couple of days because cracking had occurred on the part of the case that holds the iPad. The replacement lasted a few months before cracking started to appear on the corners and just recently the cover has completely fallen apart. If only this product had a more durable rear case that was not made of poor plastic it would be an excellent product.

I bought this case to replace my original Apple iPad case which after seven years finally fell apart, it split around the frame. This one looks good and fits well, but I don't think the hard plastic backing would survive being dropped. Neither would my seven year old IPad! When I eventually replace my device I will probably opt for an Apple case made with a durable rubberised material and a protective rim, like the one that broke, if they still exist. I love the look of this case and I paid more for the colour and hopefully it will last as long as my old IPad.
