I bought 2 sets of these to add a little light on my palm trees by the pool. They work just fine, keeping in mind I only wanted a subtle lighting. If you are looking for bright lighting, this is not the best option. They are easy to set up and are more durable than they look. I would buy them again.

I have been using solar lights in my backyard to illuminate palm trees for several years. I've been through many Home Depot products but nothing has matched this product in price, quality and easily installed. They came nicely packed, and all four lights worked perfectly. I would recommend.

Well I had high hopes but the cheap $5 solar lights you can stick on provide better lighting. They look good, are very durable metal but provide next to no light. My entire home I have solar lights outside and these are the most disappointing solar lights I have purchased. I bought 6 sets of 2. Problems are the solar can only be set 1 way so you are stuck to use it with 1 direction so since you minimally need 2 spotlights per tree to aim these toward sun, you can't. I tried using 1 and I have tons of direct sun but no luck. The 4 I kept, I literally took my $5 solar cheap lights and stuck them on top of the heavy duty metal to provide real solar light! Very sad product. I may just return the other 6 but, always feel bad returning something I opened. The solar panel on these also appear not very durable and scratched vs. other solar I have.

I like this light for its substantial metal body. I have a property with incredibly rocky soil and other metal solar lights I’ve tried have bent when I’ve tried installing them. The down side of this design is there’s no spot specifically designed to get them in the ground. They say not to push from the top down (because of the solar panel, obviously), but they also say not to push on the light head either. So if you remove the light/solar assembly (by unscrewing the set ‘screw’), you’re left with the rounded portion where the set screw goes through and if you try tamping that with any force (rubber mallet for example) you run the risk of damaging the area where you join the upper and lower portions of the light and then the light is ruined. There really is no great way to apply a decent amount of downward force so if you have hard ground, consider that.I am using it to up-light something in the distance, but if I were using it closer to your home, be prepared for the fact that it’s not a very elegant design.The thing I like least about it is that where the top attaches to the bottom, where you can adjust the angle, it’s smooth on both pieces. Prior lights I’ve purchased have had groves where the two pieces come together so the angle will hold. I can already tell that the smooth contact will be in constant need of adjusting from temperature swings (expansion and cooling will loosen the tension). The piece used to tighten them is also poorly designed for that purpose and to get the right tension, you have to apply a lot of torque and it digs into your fingers. Using a metal tool would certainly remove the paint.In the end, it met my need, but it’s kind of a pain to work with.

I like them but was disappointed by the lights color, thought I read it was bright white it is a yellowish color

I loved mine and ordered another this year. Nice and bright. Older ones (2 yrs.) are still as bright as my new one.

I bought this as replacement for the model that lasted 2 years. Snow blowers are hard on these lights so no fault on the first one. These will last for around 6 hours at night. We have the light on the front steps for anyone visiting after dark.

Only 1 or the two are working. when I tried to get in touch with the company and warranty, no one to be found. Amazon gave me a $5 credit because I was past my 1 month return policy. I feel these are junk and probably wont last the year. I will be very choosy next time.
