I’ve bought this pack multiple times now. The value is great and the ink is better. They fit the printer and it recognizes them. I’ve never had a problem with them. I’ve printed photos to fill all of our frames around the house and they look great. The inks last a decent amount of time, especially printing documents. I highly recommend these for a cheaper alternative that works and works well.

Not only is this brand the absolute best substitute for name brand ink cartridges I’ve found, the customer service is TOPS. I am a faithful and continued customer of these Smart Ink cartridges! They register quickly and easily with my Canon PIXMA TS8320. The colors are rich and vibrant across applications. I’ve used this ink to print on a good variety of paper types. In addition to your regular copier paper, here are the different varieties I’ve utilized with these ink cartridges: •Photo Paper (Canon semi-gloss, Canon Glossy II, Canon Matte, HP everyday, off-brand glossy, and even dollar store glossy. All provided excellent results with slight print-setting adjustments as needed. Most impressive out of the lot was the canon semi-gloss—but the Glossy II works very well holding the ink as well and the prints are incredibly vibrant. I personally appreciate the canon semi-gloss photo paper, as it is a more durable photo paper//Note: I do have to adjust the contrast, highlights, and brightness of the images I print with the semi-gloss paper. A bit of an inconvenience, but the results are astoundingly gorgeous!) •Zicoto Brand Vinyl Glossy Paper AND Zicoto Vinyl Matte Paper (For printing stickers—Not bad printing, the colors come through nicely but could be a bit sharper with less bleed…the paper type plays a big part in this usually. The matte worked beautifully with cartoony stickers, the glossy worked beautifully for people/meme/photo stickers. It definitely goes without saying, but you may want to adjust your print settings to get the best quality results for each paper type.) •Avery Brand Mailing Labels (and also dollar store shipping labels! Both had good results. Definitely did not need to print in the highest quality setting. The ink was very rich, and I’ve found that less is more on this medium.) •Cardstock (Colors/Types: Bright white, textured brown, manilla, textured cream, smooth sage. All held the ink and image very well. This is another “less is more” ink-quality printer setting medium!) •Magnet-Backed Matte White Printer Paper (Lovely results, no complaints.) On all of the above, this ink has worked hard and provided beautifully overall. If you’re seeking a wallet-friendly ink cartridge brand that is compatible with your printer, look no further. Ink is high quality . Only issue was a bit of ink spillage so be sure wearing gloves.

The title says it all

I was fed up with falling into the trap of buying a cheap printer then being extorted into buying dramatically over-priced ink. I tried refilling the cartridges. That was a mess. Then I found that my local Costco would do the refilling. They did a really good job, but on my fixed retirement income I still felt restricted when I needed to print in colour. The price was still high. I calculated that if the oil companies charged the same for gas that Canon charged for ink, a tank of gas would cost over $120,000. A can of Coke would be $862. A jug of milk $9,716. A bottle of wine $1,822. Man, was I being ripped off! Then a year ago yesterday I discovered Smart Inks. I was a bit nervous about exposing my printer to possible death by cheap ink, but what did I have to lose? Canon would sell me a new one at (presumably) below cost. I was only risking about $50 to potentially save a whole lot more. It was worth it. Well, was I ever right about that! The ink is great. I have been using it ever since. My printer is happily purring away, my creative juices have been untied so I can print my masterpieces with reckless abandon, and at the same time I can still afford to eat. Life is good. So is Smart Ink. UPDATE 3 YEARS LATER. So here we are after 3 more years, with not one negative experience from Smart Ink. My Canon printer just died from a problem in the electronics. Print head was still working perfectly, so there was no ink-related issue. During those 3 years I did a lot of printing. I design and print "posters" - letter size - and print around 300 copies of a 3-page newsletter in colour 3 or 4 times a year. I have printed on cheap copy paper from Costco, glossy and matte photo paper and high resolution paper. I have received compliments on quality from my clients, and I feel entirely satisfied that the quality of Smart Ink is at least as good as Canon's ink. Before ordering my new printer, I made sure Smart Inks would be available for it. If not, that would have been a deal breaker.
