Read the reviews, thought I'd take a chance. They were right, truly a BEAST of a knife....
Let me get the cons out of the way and just say the sheath it pitiful, really y'all composite leather that bleeds on the blade? Now for the Pros and on to the knife, this thing will outlast me, I'm thinking 200 years or greater. This blade is wicked thick, wicked designed, wicked angled, the grind is well done, with a strong well built handle, there is no edge to speak of but so what. All I have to do is whip out the Ken Onion knife sharpener or the whetstone, then leather strop it 400 to 500 times and it will cut tissue paper if you want to. This knife is somewhere between Crocodile Dundee and a machete, and yes I know Dundee was a Bowie but this knife has greater utilitarian value, something you could actually use for extreme yard work of out in the woods. It's like a hatchet but a knife blade at the same time. If need be someday I can make a sheath for it, that's what they make leather awls and punches for, it was 100% worth it just to purchase the knife because it truly is a beast of a knife like everyone has claimed, they weren't lying, neither am I. I wish they'd had the same drive to make their sheaths as good as they made their knives, but oh well they got my money and I got one hell of a knife, no complaints there. Damn this knife is impressive.

Bad ass and definitely worth more money
I hacked through a 3 to 4 inch tree in a minute or so. Punishment on any knife. It did not weaken the construction nor ding the blade at all. Everyone i show this knife and case to cannot believe they are selling for ao little. Additionally the company rapidly fixed an issue i had with the case. Immediately sent me a replacement.

Beautiful knife
I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. I was a little hesitant to order it because I was not familiar with the brand. I figured if it fell short of my expectations I could easily return it. But after inspection, I believe it to be a quality blade worth every cent.

amazing value
This is an heirloom-quality knife. Best wishes to all the Moorhaus artisans. You have created some beautiful blade art which is sui generis. I feel lucky to have discovered your work!

Developed cracks
I bought it and it seemed well made. I did some test chops on a log and put it in the sheath. When I pulled it out a few months later there were 2 cracks in the blade. I assume these happened due to the test hits I did. I didn'r do anything crazy. Regardless... not reliable. Not sure if mine came from a bad forging or they are all bad but based on my use and experience I cant recommend.

The QUALITY %100 top notch
The sheath does have a smell but itโs leather unlike bonded leather that breaks, itโs not a negative if u know leather but some folks will be crucial about details.

Hands Down Best Kukri I've ever had..
Clean sleek lines and design. Well-weighted..Without excess baggage and marketing of being 'authentic' or being charged an arm or leg for a kukri type tool....Chops easy and well....Guys at moorhaus know what they are doing...Great product
