I bought this to have a length of basic roller chain on hand for projects and repairs (it is the same chain as found on my snowblower). Very versatile and functional item to have on hand for your garage or barn. This particular chain seems to be of very good quality and should be durable. Ten feet is just the right length to have "just in case" while not having to spend a lot more money than necessary. It is a good value at this length. It came oiled which is good. I wiped it down and then sprayed it with commonly available chain lube before storing it in a large ziplok type bag in a cabinet drawer - ready to use when I need it.

We have a Liftmaster sliding gate and after 10 years the chain it came with started to develop rust. This is a perfect replacement for our gate opener and includes 4 connecting links. Usually only 2 are needed but I messed up when removing links that I ended up using all 4. As I don't have a chain link remover tool, you'll need to take a punch and try to knock it out. That's the first indication this is a quality chain, it was really difficult to punch out the link. After finally getting the chain installed, it's been functioning as if new. After some initial creaks it's nice and quiet again during operation. Also beware, never use silicon based lubricant on these types of chains...only WD40 or an equivalent. Nice quality replacement chain!

This chain kit came complete with everything promised in the description. The contents were well-oiled to prevent corrosion, and sealed in a plastic bag. The bag was packaged in sturdy cardboard and endured the trip to my door with no dammage. Product is as described.

Great for my project, where I needed two sets of chains and this provides links to do just that.
