GMC fan running and temp gauge not working
Part fit my GMC sierra perfect! Make sure that if you replace this part for your fan constantly running at full speed that you disconnect the negative battery terminal for at least 10 seconds to reset the system. Worked like a charm and my temperature gauge works properly and fan does not run at full speed when itโs not supposed to now!

2018 TAHOE - FIXED LOUD FAN NOISE AND TEMPERATURE/AC ISSUES
Our 2018 Tahoe would make loud fan noise shortly after turning vehicle on and for about 10 minutes after shutting vehicle off. The temperature gauge and AC unit would also stop working when this would happen. Youtube and internet searches lead us to replacing this part and it has fixed the issue for us. Also not a very difficult DIY fix! Recommend this product to anyone with similar issues. Definitely worth it to try and replace sensor to see if this fixes your issue before looking into other possible diagnoses.

Perfect fit
Perfect replacement, super easy to replace with a 19 mm wrench

Perfect match
Original was still going strong at 100,000 miles. I decided to replace this while i was doing some other work on the coolant system. Exact match to the original coolant temp sensor in 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 5.3L engine. Be careful putting this in. Itโs hard to tell when the crush washer is fully seated. The temperature sensor probe seemed to bottom out at the same time the crush waster was seated. Guess itโs fine? If you over torque this, you will cause damage. Note: this comes with teflon coating already on the threads and a crush washer. Price is cheaper than at local parts store for this GM OE part

I have not tried it yet because my existing temperature sensor started to work again fortunately for me, but it seems to be a good product.

It's probably worth keeping a spare on hand
If you intend to keep your vehicle for more than five years, order a spare. Based on failure rate reports, this is not the most reliable part in your vehicle and it's really annoying if the fans are electric. They will run and run after you turn off your vehicle (e.g. Corvette).
