surprisingly rugged.
These are 2 of my favorite things: cheap and effective. They are comfortable and I can see over them for distance easily. They are holding up incredibly well for having to be pulled on and off numerous times per hour and get carried in a button hole on my shirt when not needed. I have more expensive readers that do hold up nearly as well.

Economical and effective
These are decent glasses and you can't beat them for the price. The lenses are wide enough for comfortable reading and fit well for just about everyone – I had family members with different shaped heads try them on and they fit well on all of them. The arms are solid plastic and can't easily be bent if you have to change them, but your optometrist will probably gladly do it and fit them for you for free if you must. The lenses are clear and distortion free and clean easily. I use a microfiber cloth (one comes with the pair) and lens cleaning solution. I'm not sure what the lens composition is, but they seem to be pretty tough and have remained scratch free. All in all, a good bargain and seem to be the equivalent of the more expensive Foster-Grant glasses I've been using. I am ordering more to keep around the house as spares.

Great Product
After cataract surgery could no longer read GPS while driving. Regular reading glasses with top rims interfered with view of the road ahead. These are perfect without the top rim, and wearing down on the nose a bit allow unobstructed view of the road ahead and a quick peek at the GPS mounted on the dash. Recommend checking the three measurements provided on the website to insure that they will fit. The second pair will also be handy for multi-tasking, i.e., reading while watching TV!

OK Reading Glasses, But the Lenses Are Too Tall
I have several full-frame reading glasses. I wanted something more convenient when both reading and looking at distant objects. Ah yes, half-frame glasses. WELL, these kind-of-work. If I wear these glasses normally against my face, I can look over the lenses BUT I need to tilt my head down a lot to do so. The alternative is to place the glasses down my nose a bit, in which case I can look over the lenses comfortably. I was hoping to use these glasses positioned on my face the way I normally wear glasses, but no. I will keep them, as they are better than the full-framed glasses I have. But I am disappointed with the fit.

Decent glasses, but arms can't be adjusted for proper fit.
Star rating is for overall quality for the price. But here's the thing...the arms seem to be 100% plastic...nothing wrong with that, but that also means they can't be bent to fit. For me, (and apparently a lot of folks?), one of my ears is a little higher than the other...which means I need to be able to bend eyeglass arms a bit so that the lenses are level across the front of my face. I don't know how common this is for folks, but be aware these eyeglass arms won't "take" a bend. Sometimes, what looks like plastic arms, are actually plastic on the outside (for comfort/looks), and metal on the inside, so that they can be bent into a new shape...but these are 100% plastic (except for the hinge mechanism, which is not of the type that can take a bend). Overall these seem like reasonable quality for the price. Nice and light weight, but on the other hand, also feel a wee bit fragile, and, if you need a certain amount of bend to fit your face, they won't work.

STOP!!! Read my review before you buy and welcome in buyers remorse.
I should have followed my instincts and the advice of other users concerning these awful mfg glasses.I used this pair literally 5 times when the side broke. I'm not hard on glasses and only use them on occasion when I'm on the computer which is rare. The plastic lenses are "NOT" clear like I would like and you will be cleaning them often.I approached the company and they are sending me replacements, BUT, they're demanding I return the damaged ones which require me to travel to a return center. With the cost of Gas now, I want $4.00 for the trip since I live 10 miles away from a Kohls's and postal annex.Be a better listener than me, look elsewhere for your reading needs because they are more concerned with getting your $ than increasing sales through better quality products.

Great lenses and comfortable
Just got these reading glasses, they are wonderful. The lens quality is great and there is no coating (blue blocking filter) to distort color? For my particular eyes coated lens block blue light from computer screens screwed up my ability to focus in one of my eyes, creating a double vision situation. Blue blockers by their nature reduce the brightness of what you are looking at. Now for the bad news, not for this lens but Amazon delivery. When ever a shipment of mine goes through Buena Park distribution center, about 30% of the time the order is lost or arrives a month late. Anyway this order only took 3 days to get here, so bravo to Amazon for fixing the problem and issuing a refund on the second order. I will be ordering more of these reading glasses. Thanks

Low cost readers that do the job
The shipment came early, the glasses look great, they fit, and the correction was as ordered. Of course the frame is made of inexpensive plastic as, I assume, are the lenses but really... the cost is, essentially, $2.50 per pair... what can you expect? Ivory? I like the fact that the glasses are made from plastic. I can stick them in my pocket without fear of bending some wire frame and, if I misplace them, I can get another pair... I mean they cost less than a McDonald's cheeseburger.
