Easy Fix to Leaky Toilet
Glad to find these silicon seals on Amazon for my American Standard toilet that started leaking and refilling constantly after 4 years in service. No option at the big box stores for this part. Not thrilled about the price for a simple item that normally would be half this price on standard toilet. American Standard missed the mark on this type of design.

Just the seal.
Expensive for what you get but stops toilet from running.

It worked great
This stopped the slow leak and constant running/refilling of the toilet tank. It also seems to have fixed the bowl from losing it's prime. (American Standard Vormax)

It stopped the leaking toilet!
Overall bad design, of the original flapper. These worked as it stopped the leak. But it’s too bad that these needed to be replaced after only six months. Might have to keep some extra on hand.

It seems to solve the problem!
The original seal became concave and allowed the toilet to keep filling after it leaked down. The replacement seems to have solved the problem. It looks like it will be a seal change at least once a year.

Perfect
Exactly what I needed for ghost flushing on my American Standard vortex flush toilet❗

Locked into Failure!
Something is wrong in AS manufacturing procedures or in the basic material selection/design, when failure occurs so soon after purchase. With the next failure of the valve flap, which is anticipated, will consider replacing toilet as the lesser evil. Will also consider formal complaint to federal regulatory agency, suggest an investigation, and request removal of product approval for new home construction.

Overpriced flapper part.
Flapper worked to stopped ghost flushing and wasted water. Easy fix and installation. Took 5 minutes. Giving a 3 star for American Standard over pricing for a simple flapper and for the Vormax design that requires a 30$ flapper replacement after only 1 1/2 years. My 15 year old toilets perform better and easier to get economical parts.

Ridiculously expensive
43.00 for 2 pieces of silicone is ridiculous. The toilet these failed on is barely 4 years old and cost over 600.00 at the time (which yes I know is a ridiculous price to pay for a toilet). However, that being said one would think all the parts would last for many, many years. Apparently not. The new ones thankfully stopped the leaking, so that was good. At most these should be 10.00 not 4 times that. Gouging plain and simple from American Standard not even a reseller.

Fixed the Problem for Now
Bought an American Standard Vormax toilet about eight months ago.The silicone seals (two required) that came with the toilet started to leak after only seven months. These seals are expensive for what they are. Installed them and they fixed the problem, but they had better last longer then a seven months!!Will revise this review to one star if they don't!

Fixed my flapper
These seemed to work well and fix my Vormax toilet that was not flushing reliably for some time. It’s a quick and easy job to replace them. Make sure you follow the setup instructions, and retighten the tank bolts as well..... Seems like they are a little overpriced, but saved my from throwing the old toilet out. I was having such bad results with the 4 year old toilet, I was just gonna throw the whole thing out and replace it in an old man Irish rage. These saved me from having to do that! Recommend if your vormax isn’t flushing right.
