We love our little monkeys! They’re nice heavy plastic and very realistic.

These little monkey figures are AWESOME, the detail on them is way better than I expected for a small set like this. The functionality is great, they’re perfect for playtime, learning, or even just setting out because they actually look realistic and not cheap. There’s no assembly needed, just open and go, and they’re a nice size for small hands without being too tiny. The material feels solid and durable, not flimsy, and they hold up well to regular use. The overall look is really nice with good coloring and texture on each one. I think this is a great value for the money because you get a full set that actually looks good and holds up.

I was at first surprised at how small these are. But you wouldn't want the gorilla to be bigger, really; and the other primates seem to be to scale. The level of detail is impressive, and realistic. And it's an interesting choice of primates. I think it's easy to forget that beyond gorillas and chimps, there are so many different kinds. Toymany makes a larger set, which includes all of these and 9 more (for a total of 15). That set includes an orangutan, which is my favorite. I think it would be nice if they'd let you buy individual pieces so you could build exactly the collection you want. I got these as a present for some kids who set up elaborate 'ranches' and 'zoos' to play with, and these are now among their favorite animals, which live in a new 'Monkey House'. The kids have younger siblings who often chew on things, so I appreciate that the materials used are non-toxic. I am kind of amused that there is an anti-counterfeiting label. Couldn't someone who wanted to counterfeit these just counterfeit the label as well? For the price, it doesn't seem like there would be a lot of money in counterfeiting. But perhaps this is an actual problem. Not everyone has a use for something like this, but if you do, this is a good choice.

These are absolutely solidly built plastic toys. They’re very accurate for the animals they depict too! Almost… too accurate, which is why I deducted a star. The detail of the genitals is anatomically correct, and almost too vivid for children. Or, maybe not too vivid just like, perhaps unnecessary, which was kind of a surprise haha. The toys themselves are robust and attention to detail is great. They are a cool toy, just be aware! Haha. They’re also a bit pricey for what you get out of the box.
