This model is the best HP for my needs.
The wireless function is the greatest. It prints from my iPhone as well as my laptop without messy wires.

Skeptical @ 1st but definitely worth the $
I'm a techie and had owned many expensive HP products. This time I wanted another All In One but for cheap that can do everything I need. Well, with this Amazon renew, I wasn't sure what to expect but the price was perfect so why not try. With all my research, I wasn't sure which model to buy. After reading the specs in the same model series, their wasn't much difference. So it just came down to price. What I really want was duplex printing and batch scanning. To my surprise the duplex printing can be done automatically. But for double sided scanning, that had to be flip over manually, which wasn't too big of a deal. I haven't use this enough to tell how long the ink will last but so far print quality is good.Wifi connection was very easy to setup and works well. No USB cable included but if you have an existing cable from your old printer it will work.Overall, this was a great purchase for me. Hope this helps other who is in the same boat with deciding. Also at this price instead buying replacement ink, I can just buy another printer :)

Very good printer for under $150, A+ customer service!
It’s a good printer, definitely worth it’s price tag! What really sold me on this whole transaction was the sellers customer service! I got the printer and the paper tray nob that tells printer tray is shut was broken. Without any proof they had a new one sent out the same day I contacted them. They were amazing at their job and it showed they care! The printer itself does what it is suppose to and prints fairly quickly. Install was easy and ink is fairly cheap for it....

Works for what I need
I live in a building where we can ask our service coordinator to print things out for us, but I got tired of bothering the office (and having them know my business), so I decided to get a printer. I don't print many documents, just personal things related to whatever I may need to obtain services or furnish documentation to agencies etc. so you know, I'm not printing graphic heavy pages, no webpage printing, no photos, just a few things here and there. It is very nice now to have a scanner too when I need it as I did this morning to send a referral in to a new dental office.I found setup to be easy but for ONE thing. When setting up "Web Services" it gives your printer an e-mail address, which is nifty. But then it prints out a page and tells you to put this code into the HP software you have to download. I tried seven ways to Sunday to put the code in and it would never take it. Their answer is to uninstall-reinstall the web services which is easy enough on the touch panel of the printer, but each time it wastes a print page spitting out a new code and never, ever took this "code". I gave up and so far as I can see, it isn't even needed because everything seems to be hooked up and recognized just fine. I had my son send something to the email address it gave, and it worked perfectly. That's a great feature because he doesn't have a printer and finds himself needing documentation for agencies and things, so he can just send it to me to print out instead of going to a library or such. Oh, and regarding that unaccepted code? I e-mailed HP tech support about it and received no reply whatsoever.I will add also that I use this printer primarily from a laptop, so if you're going to use it mostly from your phone or tablet, my review can't really address that except for the app. AND regarding the app that I put on my phone, the one app is called HP Smart. There are some nifty things in there but I feel they're made for people who will print more than I ever will. There's mobile fax, clip art, tasks, etc. --- But what I don't understand at least if I did it right, is that there's like a "co-app" required called HP Print Service Plugin and I don't know why, because on my Android, all it does is open and go through swipe screens that tell me what the HP Smart App does. It gets to the last screen and asks if you want to open the other app. That's all, and it seems pointless and redundant. One other thing to note, the little arm that comes out to hold the paper as it's coming out of the printer is VERY flimsy, as is the paper loading tray itself. I wouldn't recommend doing heavy duty printing jobs so far as either of these physical features, or if you have kids or pets around that can trounce your electronics. If you're looking for an all-in-one printer for light to moderate jobs, I'd say this is one of the least expensive options and you should give it a try!

Fantastic. It's a Huge Upgrade from any Epson Printer
I threw my Epson Printer in the garbage (I had to return it to manufacturer twice and constantly replace ink cartridges as printer would not even recognize genuine Epson ink cartridges if you unplug it to move it. HP print quality is superior in black & white and color. The quality, reliability and performance make it a superior value. I'm so glad I switched back to a HP printer. I'm still very happy with my HP OfficeJet 5255 All-in-One Printer 4 months after my purchase with heavy use. THANK YOU HP FOR FOCUSING ON QUALITY, PERFORMANCE AND VALUE.

Printer could be good, if it worked
I installed it, it worked great....once. After that it randomly wouldn't work anymore. I tried every single troubleshooting method possible, made sure everything was up to date, it just kept telling me there was an error printing. I installed, uninstalled, reinstalled. NOTHING made it work.I literally spent 12 hours looking for info, downloading anything that could help, nothing did. Then randomly it decided to work. It finally worked and all I did was the same thing I had tried 20 times before.Yay! printer is working now....nope just kidding. It decided out of the blue not to print anymore. I bounced back and forth between telling me nothing is wrong and that there is a driver error. I update, install, check and it says its good to go, then it decides not to work again and says there's a driver error.I am about to start pulling my hair out. If everything is up to date and the drivers are all the newest and the pc is completely up today and the printer is installed correctly then what is the issue????? Worst waste of money, it is a paper weight.

Great printer
So far so good. I know I just received product yesterday but wanted to say installation is so super easy. Just download the app as the instructions say and it could not be easier. I have not printed a lot but what I have is great quality. I do not print a lot, just occasionally so it’s perfect for me. As with all inkjet printers it’s slower so if you print a lot it’s probably not the printer for you. I enrolled in the monthly ink program. That’s another thing that I think will save me money in the long run. No contract. Cancel, upgrade or downgrade your plan at anytime.
