Hafny Handlebar Bike Mirror, Stainless Steel Lens, HF-MR081 (Left)

I mounted this so that the mirror is above, rather than below, the handle bar end and it gives a great rear view which is very reassuring in use. I was pleased that the mounted stalk is plenty long enough and the stainless steel mirror works well, much safer and stronger than a glass mirror.Also, it's very well made, very nicely styled and doesn't look naff like some others do.I'll be buying another one for my second bike.

Very robust good quality mirror. Well made with good quality materials. Very stable and effective on my straight handlebars. Very good field of view - easily adjusted to individual need.

This is better than it first seems, in that careful placement is critical if you want to see behind without tucking your arm in every time. I have the RH mirror only, attached to the handlebar immediately next to the grip. The necessary slight move to the left of the brake and gear shift is not problematic at all. Initially I set the arm too high, which does result in restricted rear view. Setting it low makes all the difference, allowing a clear view without arm or elbow in the way.The attachment to the handlebar is solid and doesn't move, and the ball joint between mirror and arm is firm, keeping the mirror in place but allowing slight adjustments on the move. It extends just a small way (3 inches max) beyond the handlebar - not dangerous or impractical like many bar-end mirrors.The mirror is clear but with a small field of view, and of course there is vibration, depending on road surface. It's not perfect - too small to see vehicles approaching from a far distance - but much much better than having no mirror at all.

I bought this to replace a cheaper one which was not long enough when mounted on the handlebars to provide good visibility. This has a longer arm and is easily adjustable to give good visibility past my right arm. It seems well made and is relatively easy to fix on. Also looks pretty cool!

Good quality product, well made and design is reasonable apart from the lack of adjustable range! I ended up having to grind the socked edge to allow the mirror head to adjust enough to give me a clear view! My bars are standard on the as sold bike, slightly swept back. It vibrated even on a MTB with full suspension on any but the smoothest of road. I give 3 stars as it is better than the last mirror I had. Good stainless bolts and high grade plastics and it looks good and you can get used to the vibrations if looking well and hard enough! Good stainless mirror which has been belted a few times and survived unscathed. It also has a reflective section on the forward facing side too.

It works great, gives me and excellent view behind when making turns. I had a bit of trouble working out the best way to fit it.. The photos showed it inside the gearshift. But when I tried this it interfered somewhat with the gearshift, and the bull horn at the end of the handlebars was in the way, I couldn't get a good view behind. So instead I did the following:1. Move the gearshift inwards the same distance as the width of the mirror mounting bracket.2. Remove the bull horn from handlebar.3. Slide the bike's rubber handgrip along the handlebar so its up against the gearshift (in it's new position).4. Fit the mirror mounting bracket at the end of the handlebar up against the rubber handgrip.5. Adjust the mirror to give a good few and tighten up the Allen screws so it won't easily budge.6. Put the bull horn back on right up against the mirror mounting bracket.7. All done.

best purchase ever! this item is very well made, easy to install and so very helpful. i can now see the cars that are literally trying to kill me on the road and am now able to dodge them before they achieve their goal. make sure you check to make sure you order left or right, there are no markings on the box.

It does work and it fits as described. It vibrates a bit and it looks a bit combersom on the bike. The rear view is just about adequate. I can't say I'm delighted but it is on my bike!

We ordered both a left and right mirror for our new ebike. When they arrived, the right side mirror had the correct mount, but the incorrect mirror. I emailed the company at the email address listed on the product package, and they responded within a day. The company immediately send the correct part and we now have both mirrors installed and love them. It is refreshing to actually be able to connect with a company that supports their customers and stands behind their products. Well done, Hafny!As for the mirrors themselves, we are very pleased. Each mirror has a reflector that sits high on the bike, allowing oncoming vehicles to better see the bike. The mirror surface produces an image as clear as a traditional glass mirror, but is much less likely to break. The mirrors can be adjusted easily, but remain in place when riding. Even on our ebike, with no suspension, the image does not shake or blur. Having a mirror-image, matched pair looks great on the bike.The only consideration is mounting space. Our bike has somewhat large ebike controls and brake lever mounted directly next to the hand grip. That moves the mirror mount fairly far inboard. On the opposite side, the shifter, hand brake, and bell are mounted next to the hand grip, forcing the mirror mount closer to the stem. This puts the rider's arms partially in the field of view of the mirror. It works fine, but another centimeter of length on the mounting arms would be my only suggestion for improvement. On a traditional bike, this would probably not be an issue.You can see the mount and reflectors in the attached pictures.

Very sturdy, perfect for petal bike or chopper bike. Sleek looking. Mirror is very clear and adjustable.

Excellent produit. Bien conçu, avec une attache étroite -important pour mettre au +près de la poignée- mais solide. Bonne courbure du support qui laisse de la place pour la main, et surtout réglage facile de la partie miroir, qui se replie facilement vers l'intérieur en cas de choc, ou qd on appuie le vélo sur un mur, etc ... les miroirs sont petits et discrets, mais offrent une bonne visibilité, avec assez de report pour voir l'arrière et pas son bras comme certains. Cher pour sa catégorie au premier abord, mais apparemment vaut son prix (en remplacement d'un rétro a axe alu qui a cassé au bout de 3 mois). Attention au gauche droite. Pas fait attention, le 1er est arrivé en droit. Du coup j'ai les 2 ...

It’s winter so I haven’t had a chance to take it out on the road but installing it was not too difficult and it looks like it’s going to work great. There’s not a lot of room on my handlebar so I was concerned it wouldn’t fit well, but it was able to extend to a usable position and you can configure it above or below the handlebar. The mirror itself is on a ball joint, which allows for more fine-tuning well on the road.I will update this review once I’ve had a chance to ride around with it for a bit.
