This sits next to a matching container without a spoon that I use for pinches of kosher salt when I’m cooking. I love the little spoon in this one and use this for small amounts of sugar which I use to balance flavors when I cook. The lid works well with a touch of a finger and these little containers are stable and do not slide on the counter. And they are beautiful to look at too.

These little boxes are great. We wanted to replace some old shakers with something a little different and chose these for simplicity. They hold a good amount, 1 holds our salt, the others has dried red chili flakes. I like the size and how the boxes sit in just a slight (2-3mm) recessed square in the base. This keeps them from sliding around. These are not air-tight, so we opted to keep the black pepper grinder since fresh ground pepper has stronger flavor. These are plenty large enough for whatever spice, herb, or dry garnish (crispy garlic? sunflower seeds? sesame seeds?) you frequently use! Having 1 box with an herb blend and the other with a pepper blend would also work well.

I was tired of storing my kosher salt in an old salsa jar. The jar did the job, but just looked tacky. This keeps it easy at hand in the kitchen and looks nice and attractive on the counter. The included spoon and slot are nice features as well. The magnetic closure is easy to open but also keeps the lid closed securely. Although not so secure that it will not spring open if knocked off the counter or table.

This is very cute and functional. Looks and feels high quality. The lid glides open easily and the magnetic closure is just strong enough to hold it shut. Perfect size for kosher salt by the stove. Love it.

Very attractive although it occurred to me after I bought it that when cooking, I need to grab a pinch of salt. With this item, one must first rotate the lid which lessens the immediate accessibility.

We like this larger size for use as our kitchen/cooking butter container. We use a smaller one for our dining room table. Super attractive and convenient for serving room-temperature butter! The magnetized spoon would be awesome for salt - we rest a butter knife on that spot. We use a smaller version for home-grated parmesan cheese - we keep in the refrigerator - easy to shake from! These are beautiful, practical & very giftable!

It serves its purpose well. And the little spoon is handy while cooking. Good product.

Die Bambus-Salszdose ist ein tolles und schickes Produkt, Der kleine Holzlöffel ist über einen kleinen Magneten auf dem Deckel gesichert und lässt sich auch mit nur einer Hand schnell abnehmen. Der drehbare Deckel sitzt fest genug, um das Salz im Topf zu halten und lässt sic zum Gebrauch auch mit nur einer Hans öffnen. Zwei Dinge finde ich nicht so optimal, die tun dem Produkt aber keinen Nachteil, das aufgeklebte Etikett ließ sich nach der Lieferung nur schwer ablösen und es passt keine ganze Salzpackung auf einmal rein. Aber deswegen bleibt es ein tolles Produkt.
