Federal Holsterworks Holster for Ruger LCP & LCP ii and Taurus TCP 380 PT738 Pistol - IWB or Belt Loops

Bought to carry my pistol on the outside of my molle pack. Has a slot for spare magazine, velcro closures, even though there is a snap that is on one side it velcros on the other, but i can just sew it how i want it or else w o uld get 5 stars. I wouldnt recommend for concealed carry, may be a bit too bulky.

This would be a 5 star review, but this holster has a pretty serious flaw... At least mine does: the inner seam along the edge loves to grab onto the slide release. This means when drawing your TCP, there is a real good chance you are yanking the holster out along with your firearm.I bought this holster to replace a generic Blackhawk holster sized for small guns, because it's adjustable all over, swap the straps to either side, the belt clip goes on both sides, carry an extra magazine... It's all great... Except when you draw the pistol. I tried some super glue to flatten out the seam but it didn't work to solve the snagging. I may try a thin sheet of plastic to cover any snagging points, just be aware that this is a flaw. The generic Blackhawk holster gives a super quick and easy draw... Undo the button and draw in one quick effortless upward motion because of its lever like button that undoes itself with upward pressure from anywhere along your palm wrist or forearm, whereas this one is a bit more complicated: undo with thumb in a downward motion, then pull up and outwards to prevent snagging, and if it snags the holster is getting torn or pulled out... Just a lot more finicky. Otherwise, I love the additional features this one has. Just don't get it if your looking for a flawless holster for drawing your firearm super quick.
