EZ SPARES 35mm Telescopic Wand Compatible with Miele C1 C2 C3, 24.4-41in

I received the replacement Telescope vacuum tube today. It fit perfectly & saved my vacuum cleaner. The last time I had it repaired I spent a lot for the repair & it came home with the tube slipping every time I used the vacuum cleaner. I had decided I wasn’t taking it in for any more repairs, so this saved me the cost of a new vacuum cleaner! Very happy!

Very fast delivery. Perfect replacement. This has a metal connection point at the bottom of the tube (not plastic). On the Miele version, the end is made of plastic and shattered when i set the vacuum down on tile floor without an attachment.

Perfectly compatible with my Miele, reasonably priced, and just as advertised. I now have three sets and no longer need ladders for high reaches in the house or garage.

Very tight fit so I sanded the hose handle to fit in easier. I used a hack saw to cut an indentation for the metal clip. Then it fit fine. Others have reported that the plastic clip is not extremely sturdy so i would avoid banging it around. I really appreciate the light weight for my floor tool. I keep the wired tube connected to the rug tool so i don't have to change tubes.

I bought this to use in place of the powered wand that came with my Miele Compact C2. The powered wand is much heavier than the non-powered one so I bought this to use with the hard non-powered floor attachments, which is what I use the vast majority of the time. I also have a non-electric Miele canister I use upstairs and comparing the two wands, this one is slightly longer and the extension button is different but the two wands are functionally just the same. Plus this one is much less expensive than the name brand part.

Looks good, fits my vacuum and 35mm attachments well. Has a nice adjustment range. There is unfortunately a design flaw in the black sliding switch used to adjust the length. The switch gets stuck in the unlocked position, and requires a lot of fiddling to get it to click back into place. I took it apart, and there is a little metal dowel pin within the mechanism that locks into the grooves in the tube to lock it into position. The problem is that the pin has tapered ends, which allow it to shift too far forward within its plastic keeper. To the manufacturer: if you switch to using an un-tapered pin here, the mechanism will work correctly. To other purchasers: it is possible to get the switch working properly by carving away a bit of the black plastic surrounding the pin but it's not an easy task to get it disassembled or to figure out where to carve.
