Why doesn't the J1772 to Tesla Charging Adapter fully charge my Tesla?

This can happen if the connection isn't secure or if the charging station’s power output is lower than expected. Make sure the adapter is properly seated, and check the power output of the charging station to ensure optimal charging performance.

Why is the connection with my charging station tight?

This can happen due to slight misalignment or build-up on the charging ports. Make sure the J1772 Tesla connector is aligned properly before insertion, and clean the charging ports if necessary for a smoother fit.

Does the J1772 Charging Adapter overheat during use?

The J1772 to Tesla Charging Adapter is built with safety protections to prevent overheating, but be sure to monitor the temperature, especially during extended charging times or at higher power levels.

How durable is the J1772 Charging Adapter?

The adapter is made from high-strength ABS material and undergoes strict testing. However, regular wear and tear can happen. Handle the adapter with care, and store it properly to extend its lifespan.

Is the J1772 Charging Adapter compatible with all SAE J1772 charging stations?

This Tesla J1772 adapter is compatible with Level 1 and Level 2 SAE J1772 charging stations, greatly expanding your Tesla charging options. Always check compatibility before use, especially when using non-Tesla charging stations.
