Lamb Shank, 19 oz (frozen)

We seasoned our lamb shanks. Seared them in the frying pan on both sides. Then we braised them in the oven with herbs, onions, carrots and broth for about 3 hours. They were so tender and delicious. We ate them with a Clam Chowder and got full. Its a good buy if you are adding other things to your meal with it. Will be buying again. It was delicious.

Super good.. I was not sure how it was going to be. But I am so satisfied. It tastes super fresh.. I wanted to order again but as of now it shows out of stock.. I hope it comes back in stock so I can order again..

These shanks were okay in flavor and were fairly tender; however, I think they should be at least $2 cheaper.

I wanted to make Caldo de Res (Mexican beef soup) but couldn't find a beef shank for delivery (this review was written during the Covid quarantine), so I used this instead along with some beef chuck.Soup came out great. I've since purchased more to stock in the freezer.

The media could not be loaded. Great price, meaty and delicious. I had no expectation because of the price, saw the good reviews so happy to give it a try. The portion is good enough for the 2 of us served with some veggie and side for dinner.

Too much fat

Really good quality, especially for the price. I marinated it overnight, seared it well, and then braised it for about three hours in the oven. Everything came out perfectly. I hope that Fresh continues to stock these.

This isn't meat, it's really just bones with a tiny covering of meat. I'd say the whole pound maybe had 8 ounces of lamb meat. I'll stick to my local grocery, who sells pure meat at the same price. Tasted OK but not exceptional.
