This coat is the perfect size and has extra length to fit corgis, dachshunds and other long dogs. It is lightweight, but covers well. Our corgi seems comfortable in it and does not fuss when it is on or while it is put on her. It is easy to put on as once you fit the neck, you can just keep that Velcroed and then just wrap the lap belt up. Much quicker than messing with buttons or snaps. The material does a wonderful job keeping her warm and dry in the rain and seems like it will do well with a wintery mix of precipitation as well.

I saw this bright red raincoat made for longer dogs (like Corgis), and while Daisy isn’t a Corgi, she’s part Dachshund and definitely long! I ordered a size Medium, and it fits her perfectly. It’s super easy to put on: there’s a Velcro strap around the neck and two Velcro straps at the waist, which keep it secure on Daisy without it being tight. The material has a classic slick raincoat finish and does a great job of keeping Daisy dry during wet walks. I also love the cute black-and-white striped collar that can be worn up or folded down for a different look. At $24.99 at the time of my purchase, I think it’s a great value for the quality, fit, and style.
