Flower Essence Repertory: A Comprehensive Guide to North American and English Flower Essences for Emotional and Spiritual Well-Being

I have no hesitations about giving this book 5 stars. It has been so indispensible to me that I owned 2 copies of it for several years (finally gave one away). I actually entered the basic info out of this book into my palm pilot as well, by hand. If you are interested in flower essences, this is the best book I have ever seen on the topic. I have a number of them, but this one is the bible. In three sections, it tells you how these essences work and how to use the book, gives you an index of issues to treat with the remedies and differentiates each one to make it clear which is right. Then the third sections devotes a page to each of the Bach remedies, as well as all the Flower Essence Society remedies from California. The writing is beautiful and accurate, filled with compassion. It is also *precise*, and not all flaky like much of energy medicine theory. Any beginner will have no trouble using this book and understanding the language. As a practitioner, I couldn't do without it. I cannot praise this book and its authors too highly. My remaining copy is battered from use.If you are a mere dabbler, you may prefer a book that is shorter and less informative. However, I think some of the truth is sacrificed in such books. If you want information on flower remedies from other parts of the world, you will also need to look elsewhere. This is the best place to start, however, in my humble and enthusiastic opinion.

This book is full of so much information. I use it as a reference book as I would never be able to remember it all. I use this book to find flower remedies for emotions that my Bach remedies do not address and remedies I can make from the herbs in my garden.I sat down one Saturday and read the first and second chapters on "What is flower essence" Patricia Kaminski and Richard Katz approach is very different from Dr. Bach. who I have been using..... a whole new outlook but same over all focus. The first and second chapter is a bit like an encyclopedia in that it covered flower essence from an extensive range of categories. The rest of the book is laid out first in aliments and which essences to use and then by flowers and their properties. I took my soft cover book to the nearest print shop and had the binding down the back cut off and a spiral binding put in its place so the book lies flat.

Indispensable reference book! I mistakenly lent my copy to a friend over a year ago, and haven't seen it since. I missed having it! There were many instances during that time frame when I wished that I had my copy back. Finally went ahead and ordered a replacement copy. Now I can get my energy flow back to where it is supposed to be. This book goes WAY beyond the research that Bach was able to do during his lifetime. Well written and comprehensive format.

Great book for educating your self on flower essences. Wish the book was in a bit better shape but nothings torn and no hughlights so far.

I gave my 1st copy of this book to my daughters, so this is my 2nd copy. How to use the flower essences, an extensive repertory and meteria medica make this one volume complete. I have others, but this is my go to guide. I rejected the new spiral bound edition after reading reviews that it was 100 pages shorter than this one. What was left out?

Amazing results this is a very very good book. You could even ask the book to flip to the page you need and it works, use your left hand.. I prefer the non-alcoholic type, oil on the skin breathing in 3 times it releases memory on a cellular level.

I have been using flower essences for a long time and I have found this book to be by far the most useful and insightful. The descriptions of the effects of each essence are wonderful and well researched. A lot of work and dedication went into this book and it shows! People who are interested in understanding their emotional nature better will enjoy this book.

Ive worn out two other copies over the years. This was like new! Its a wonderful resource, not only for a flower essence practioner,but for anyone who is compassionately curious about possible ways of being for human beings. I'm giving it away as a gift, but id really love to keep it for myself!

This book is bar none the best book I've found, although all the flower essence books are fairly good.PS last time I checked, the spiral bound edition is not as extensive as this edition.

i would recommend this book to anyone, its not only very interesting but very informative and well written.easy to understand and well worth the money.

Les 100 premières pages sont des principes généraux sur les élixirs floraux, ce qui ne m'a rien apporté, mais bien pour les débutants. Sur 400 pages, seulement 120 sont consacrées à la description des propriétés de chaque fleur (il y en a 140). Katz et Kaminski reprennent aussi les 38 fleurs de Bach qui ne sont pas leur création et sur lesquelles il existe déjà beaucoup d'ouvrages. Je pensais que cela serait plus pratique d'utilisation.
