O'Neill Men's Basic Skins Long Sleeve Crew Surf Shirt

I know folks are complaining about it being small - or "tight" - ahem - it's a surfing shirt - it's supposed to be skin tight - the last thing in the world you want is to have your clothes bunching up when your surfing. I'm a smallish guy & I typically wear a medium shirt - but - for my surf/kayaking/cycling - gear - I always order a large jersey/shirt for those activities. But I'm getting off topic. This shirt is a 5 star piece of clothing - the stitching is dead on - the finish of the edging is fantastic - overall a very very good surf/kayaking general hanging out at the beach shirt & yes - it's skin tight - the way it's supposed to be - very very comfortable at that :-)

It is a nice rash guard when you go on the beach. But is does run too big for me for an XL size, I have read all the reviews that is does come small and I need to order 1 size larger, but believe me please order your correct size when ordering this one. Lastly, the sleeves are too long. BTW, I am 5'9 and weighs 165 lbs. Hope this would help for future buyers.

I was very surprised, I have had a few rash guards and this O'neill is great, I had read a few reviews before I bought mine, And they all touched on the size issues, I am 5'10" about I weigh about 190lbs and the XL fit me perfectly and I am glad that I chose the right size, If I had bought 1 size more it would have been to big and any smaller It would be way to small, I use mine under my wet suit, And when the water gets warm I will wear just the rash guard, I have been buying wet suits from O'neill since back in the late 60s The O'neill family was one of the few company to offer a modern wet suit that we are using now, The rash guard is made just like all of O'neill's products, Durable and at a good price, So if Your shopping around try the O'neill You will love it.

I live in Palmdale Ca. where it is always sunny. I swim 1 to 3 hours at least 2 or 3 days a week in an outdoor pool. I purchased this swim shirt to protect my skin from sun damage. The shirt arrived as advertised in 2 days. I read many reviews and I followed the recommendations and purchased the shirt 1 size larger than my normal size and it fits perfect. The shirt does run a bit small. The quality is excellent. I highly recommend this product.

It's a good material and feels good while on and in the water. However their rash guards are very tight... I'm a 38" chest with a 31" waist, they recommend a medium so that's what I got. It is a major pain putting on and taking off due to the tightness. Maybe a large would have been a better fit.

I needed something for snorkeling / water sports for a vacation. Based on the reviews, I ordered one size up for more comfort (L). Reference of 170 pounds, 5'10. Fit snug, not too loose for swimming. Also not the most snug, so not good for wetsuit, but perfect for what I got it for. If I was going to use it as a rashguard under a wetsuit, Medium would have been a better choice. The top rated review gets it right. This is not meant to be a regular, loose fitting comfy shirt. It's a rash guard people!

Bought this for my husband to wear as a rashguard. Thankfully I took the reviews to heart and bought him an XXL. He is normally an XL. I am considering buying him a second one but wish I could get itin a XXXL. He really is not that big of a guy but I promise you we had tears in our eyes from iuncontrolled laughter as he sang "Fat guy in a little coat". Do yourself a favor and buy one size larger than normal. That said it is a great product.

No more sun burn. This is fantastic. Love the protection from the sun. And the cooling effected is fantastic. Where were these 'back in the days' when I really could have used them? Oh well. Also used a short sleeve O'Neill for an extended trip to Puerto Rico and just ordered another long sleeve for fishing this summer. Worked out very nicely for some snorkeling and offfered great UV protection to areas that needed it the most. Did not ride up and stayed in place.
