Exactly what I needed for both my hot rod projects to install new clean wiring

Anyone who's every worked in the engine bay of a modern vehicle and had to disconnect/move around wiring harnesses knows that especially once the wiring retainers have been exposed to engine heat and other harsh elements, trying to remove these clips can often lead to them breaking. This creates an issue when reassembling as the harness is then loose and may come into contact with other items. This is where these SecuriTie cable ties really shine. The "fir tree" style retainers on these cable ties will often fit the hole/clips used by the original retainers quite nicely or they can be used when installing aftermarket components to route wires out of the way.The fact you get 100 in the bag is a bonus since you often can't find this style cable tie in hardware stores, so having a large supply on hand is good since you can go through a couple of these just replacing an alternator on a Honda Civic for example. In short, if you do work on vehicles for a living or just are doing your own DIY work and like putting things back in a similar condition to the factory, keep a bag of these cable ties on hand. You may not need them every day, but you'll really appreciate having them on hand when you do need them.

I love how you can string wires where there is nothing to tie them to, just a hole and you are good.

Just as the other people have mentioned, at the top in bold, it says they are 17" but just below that (not in bold) it says they are 8". This resulted in me buying the wrong thing. NOT impressed!
