SKLZ Stability Pro Heavy Duty Exercise Ball

I originally purchased this item during pregnancy to help get my baby into the right position by bouncing and loosening my hips, however, I now use it for core-strengthening and hip-thrust exercises. I am 5'8 and I ordered 65 cm- perfect size.The ball itself is very thick and sturdy. It does have a strong chemical/plastic smell when you first use it, but I wiped it down with a general cleaner and it diminished.One tip: when I first pumped the ball, it seemed like it was full-capacity, but it definitely wasn't. I had to pump, wait a few hours for it to stretch, pump it again. The manufacturer includes a clear tape to measure how many cm the ball should be, which is very helpful. It did take me three times to be able to pump the ball to the correct size. Also, the pump included is a hand pump- it is effective but much more tiring to pump an entire ball using a hand pump vs using a foot pump.

I'd give the ball 5 stars if it were not for the fact that the ball has a layer of grease on the entire surface and surface wrinkles from packaging that do not go away.I have never purchased a product made of rubber that was slathered with grease. For an exercise item that comes in contact with many parts of my body during a workout I find this to be very unpleasant. I wiped off as much as I could but the remainder has not yet come off after a few weeks of daily use.The ball also had surface wrinkles from being folded tightly in a box upon receipt. The surface wrinkles have not yet disappeared after extended use.On the plus side the product does appear very well made.

Despite what is stated in the Q&A section of this page, this ball does not come with a pump or even any instructions. During post-purchase contact with the seller, they verified that there was no pump.Attached is a picture of everything I received. The quality of the ball seemed OK enough (although obviously I never inflated the ball). The material felt thick enough that the ball would hold up to normal use. And due to the lack of included instructions, I was unclear if I even had all the parts, but it looks like the product does not comes with an adapter so that a bike pump can be used to inflate it. This was a major negative for me.While the price is right, the lack of pump, any kind of instructions, and bicycle pump adapter makes this a no go for me. I'm returning today.

Looks like a good product but did not include pump as described and no care info as others mention as included. Would rate higher otherwise. Will return !

After reviewing all of the exercise balls for sale here at Amazon, and closely looking at customer reviews on them, I decided to buy the SKLZ Pro Heavy Duty Exercise Ball. Even though delivery lead time was to be several weeks, from what I had read about this ball, and because of customer comments/reviews, I was willing to wait on the delivery for what looked like to me to be the best ball. I received my SKLZ ball a week ago, and it is what I was expecting. I followed the instructions for inflating it, and have now used it several times. Thus far, the inflation has remained constant, and I also am pleased with the way this ball looks and feels. While the scope of my exercise routine will not be extensive, I am absolutely confident that my SKLZ ball is going to provide to me the exercise support that I need, for improving and maintaining my core muscle structure, especially in my hips, back, and stomach!! ..........and the included air-pump does work just fine - slow but fine!

Excellent ball. Using it with Body Beast and it works well. Had a light layer of film/grease, but cleaned fine with vinegar and water. Some slight wrinkles remain, but not a problem. I like that it comes with a tape for proper inflation.

This exercise ball is sturdy, the sizing is great, and it holds air much better than other exercise balls I've owned. It does what it says it does, and has a few handy exercises printed on the ball for references. It's very well priced considering its durability.That said, I've docked the ball a few stars because there is a strong chemical smell and an oddly sticky texture to the ball, and the creases it developed while deflated and folded in its packaging seem to stick around long after you've inflated the ball. Speaking of which, be warned that this exercise ball does not come with a hand pump, so you'll need to provide your own.
