EDIT April 22, 2019: The company has been very helpful and fixed the problem described below. They have been contacting me to make sure they understood the problem and have both fixed it and sent me a new upgraded unit that displays the alarm sensor number for a full minute after hearing my feedback. I can now fully recommend the product and Hosmart as a company. Rating changed to five stars. Thank you Sherry at Hosmart.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The product works as described and seems to be of good quality. It gives false alarms sometimes due to sunlight or animals but that is to be expected. There is just one thing that drives me crazy and that is when one of the sensors triggers the base unit only show you the number of the sensor for a couple of seconds. So if you are not staring at it you will miss what sensor triggered. A small firmware update so that the number would stay lit a minute or two and this product would be almost perfect. It is such a shame. If someone enters my property I want to be able to check where he/she is but that is impossible if you are not looking directly at the unit. So annoying!

My wife and I manage a park and we use these to cover the roads (let us know where people are going). They seem to work real well.I have one sensor that seems to give false alarms but after a few adjustments (aiming the sensor around) it seems to have gone away.The 4 tunes are ok, sometimes I wish it was just a simple tone and not a tune. I find myself humming them and it gets annoying.The only complaint I have now is the solar panels don't seem to sustain 100%. I'm going to need to go out and charge them with the USB plug, a few have stopped monitoring completely.

I have two of these transmitters and two receivers. One about 100 feet out the drive where I can only view on the security camera. But you have to be looking at the camera to see anyone coming. also have one transmitter for the steps to the back deck. Everything works great except twice a year when the sun is at the right angle it set off the alarm. That is even when the sun is behind cloud. I called the company and of course I am the only one to complain about this. It also false alarms once in a while on cooler days when the sun warms up the drive or house bricks. Even with that it is the best system I have found.

I received this product with much anticipation. I have lost a high dollar air compressor, expensive pressure washer and an expensive Husqarvana push lawn mower and needed some kind of notification when someone came on my property. This thief was brazen. Came in with all lights on and came up to the house, the garage door, and in my back yard. I knew I needed something to let me know someone was outside my home. I was hesitant to give a review when first asked for one, but now that I tried out the product, I not only give a thumbs up, but 10 fingers and 10 toes up. Kudos to Hosmart for an excellent product. Bought the solar powered, 4 sensors and receiver package, however, I never got to use it for more than a week at a time. The sensors work well initially, however, the receiver will deplete the batteries and develop the shown in picture rust/salt material. Tried to clean the receiver then use fresh batteries few times. However, the same problem keeps happening even with different battery type.

These sensors are wonderful! We have them coming up our driveway which is 1/2 mile. They are great warnings when someone or something is coming up the mountain. They do not work all the time if it is a cloudy or rainy day. Best purchase for our property ever!!! Definitely worth the money!

Product seemed almost military grade when reading about it, but functioned and felt like it was made in China and many times wouldn't register back to the base station. Seemingly starts working randomly.

The product is a brilliant idea of powering a PIR motion sensor using a solar panel. The product has an excellent transmission range. However, the unit produce too many false alarms while no one was around the sensors. It seems that light summer wind blowing in front of the sensor can trigger the alarm even while using the lowest sensitivity setting. With too many false alarms, the device becomes useless since you do not know which a alarm to believe!

This is a superb product - sensors are solar (even gets enough sunshine in UK) and receiver plugged into mains power.Used for not only driveway but around the garden covering all entrance/exit points into the woods and fields that surround us. Absolutely brilliant.Came across this excellent set up system that to scooch (Sensible Prepper) in US.Fast friendly service, decent system with 4 different chimes.Even better, after sales service is excellent.Lost the back cover of my receiver, dropped the company a line to get a replacement back cover - and they swiftly sent me a new receiver unit.Cant argue with that superb service.Highly recommended.
