it doesn’t show the ingredients in the picture, but this japchae sauce contains alcohol. When I opened it, I smelled the alcohol so unfortunately I had to throw it away and couldn’t taste it 🥲

Re-edit my review. The sauce taste delicious. It's my first try to cook Japchae. My girls and my husband like it. Overall, nice

A bit unhappy with the purchase. First off, it came in 2 little pouches instead of a jar. I can somewhat understand that it’s less likely to break and spill in transit due to this. However, the pouches are too small. The jar is supposed to be 300g of sauce but I only got 2 small pouches that are definitely less than that. The pictures should be updated from the jar to the pouches and also either lower the price or send the full 300g.

I’m actually really surprised by this item. I wasn’t expecting much but it’s actually really tasty! Be careful to follow instructions however and go with little amount by little amount because if you put too much it doesn’t taste great, work your way up slowly!
