Shimano SM-PD65 reflector unit, pair

Works perfectly on SPD-SL pedals. Install a bit finnicky as there's no instructions provided, but not complicated. The "butterfly" tool goes in the middle gap of the pedal and only fits one way properly. Screw goes directly into the middle hole of the reflector and requires some force to push in.

Just bought a replacement pair. I managed to break the near side one. My fault no blame on the part. They are easy to fit£8.99, although the lack of instructions can mean you put them in back to front, which increases the chance of damaging them as they fit underneath the pedal.The major plus, is that by fitting them, you have rear facing amber reflectors. Aside from increased visibility in dark conditions you are compliant with U.K. traffic regulations. In case you are involved in an accident, it means any damages you receive are not likely to be reduced for being non compliant and possibly being deemed as negligent. Hopefully you won’t have the experience of an unexpected meeting with a motor vehicle and if these help avoid it then it is a small price to pay and very little weight on the bike.
