AC plug charger works great for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 battery
I bought this to replace a lost AC plug charger that came with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 10.1 MP Digital Camera with 12x Wide Angle MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3 inch LCD (Black) . It works great. As other reviewers have noted, it's true that the battery has four contacts and this charger has only two. No matter. Once I put the battery in the charger correctly and plugged it in, the light on the charger lit up red. I left it charging overnight, and the light was green the next morning. I put the battery in my camera. Before using this charger, the camera said the battery had no charge. After charging, the camera showed a fully-charged battery. It works with the battery that came with my camera. In fact, I'm going to buy another so I have a back-up at the ready.

NEEWER AC Wall Charger + In-Car Charger Adapter for Panasonic DNW-BCF10
I needed a replacement for my Panasonic charger so thought I would give this unit a try. Here is what I liked: 1. The unit does work as long as you SLIDE in your battery!! If you push down the battery you will damage the charger tabs. 2. The unit is light weight. 3. The in car adapter works. 4. There is a charging light (red) that turns green when the battery is charged. 5. This is a very low cost charger. Here is what I did not like as much: 1. The unit is made very inexpensively!! I would handle with care if you want it to hold up. The AC prongs stick as you try to extend or collapse them.I am concerned about the reliability of this unit. Things do not seem to fit well, but they do fit and it does work. Let's just say that the apparent quality of the unit has not inspired confidence on my part. As such, I cannot recommend it.

Big & awkward, here is how it works
The product I received from ATC LLC was different from the photo. It has four prongs that do not match the four contacts of a BCG10e Panasonic battery. The battery area in the charger is wider than a BCG10e battery, and the unit is quite deep compared to original equipment. Thus, on first inspection, it appears that the charger will not fit a BCG10e battery, but it will if you are careful. It seems that the charger is made for two size batteries - the BCG10e being one of them. The battery fits in the center section of the charger, and two of the four prongs engage two of the four battery contacts. The third prong contacts the plastic battery case and the fourth is in the air. This is different from the manufacturer's charger in which four prongs engage four contacts on the battery. However, only two contacts ( + and -) are required, and the charger successfully charges the battery in this configuration - none of which is explained in the minimal instructions. So, if you are careful in using this charger (the type shipped to me), it is an inexpensive charger that performs fine. As for the thickness, at 1 3/8 inches deep it is thicker than I would like for travel but not terrible. The thickness may be a result of what appears to be a clever design. The top section of the charger that holds the battery can be removed. Hypothetically, one could replace it with another holder to charge other size batteries (even from other camera manufacturers), but I don't see such holders advertised. Finally, let me say that ATC LLC customer service was fine. We had a couple of email exchanges about the charger, and customer service was responsive and accommodating.

Fantastic Product at a Great Price
This is the greatest purchase I have ever made, I would give it twenty five stars if I could. This charger works like the original Lumix charger should have worked but never did. My expensive Lumix charger has now been deposited into the trashcan. It had forced me to buy a replacement battery because my original battery would never charge and I was never sure if the problem was with the battery or the charger. I now know the Lumix charger was a piece of crap which cost me many lost photo opportunities. I now have two fully charged batteries and I just received the charger this afternoon. It comes with two charging connections rather than three, but all you need is two for the positive and negative connections. Don't believe any of the negative reviews for this product, they simply don't know what they are talking about, for five bucks you can't make a mistake. This is also why I love Amazon, because I can find exactly the right product at a fantastic price.

Read the product info carefully...
I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2 camera and needed a backup charger. So I enter "Lumix DMC-TS2 charger" in the Amazon search field, check "Prime Eligible" when the results come back and this one is the first charger listed. So I buy it - <$5 what a deal! Except it's not - it doesn't fit the DMC-TS2. Going back & looking at the page I see that in the "Product Ads from External Websites" section there's an ad for a battery that fits the DMC-TS2. I assumed (incorrectly) that Amazon search would filter out the chargers that didn't fit. I know it lists a bunch of DMC-Z series cameras as "fits" in the title but oftentimes batteries & battery chargers cross models so I thought perhaps this was simply a case that this charger handled more than its title said or else why would Amazon show it as a search result. So, not entirely the product's problem but it doesn't work so I'm not happy with it. If they think this is unfair they should work with Amazon to fix the search. In the meantime I'll toss this in the drawer in the event that someday I find a battery it fits in. It's just not worth the time & trouble to ship it back to Amazon, it was less than $5 after all.So, caveat emptor --- read the whole page & be careful you didn't land here because Amazon mis-tagged the page for you.

bad delivery time
I love the item. The only major complaint that I have is that it took FOREVER to get. I ordered it on December 3 and I didn't receive it until December 22, expected delivery time was about 1 week. It had nothing to do with the company however, they shipped it out on December 6. Their delivery service, USPS, was the problem...perhaps they should look into someone else to deliver for them.
