A pleasant surprise
I've been using this product for about a month now, and I'm pleasantly surprised. Given reviews of similar soap dispensers, my hopes weren't high, but it's working well so far, and I'm glad I chose this one.Initial setup wasn't too difficult. The directions were generally okay, but getting the batteries down into the compartment was a bit troublesome. Changing the amount of soap dispensed with each use is simple but not something you could change by accident, which I like.Given the cramped quarters of my bathroom, I worried that I'd often be accidentally triggering it, but that hasn't been the case. Upon setting it up, I filled it with water and took a few minutes to play with it at different settings and at various angles. That told me exactly where my hands had to be and helped me avoid accidentally triggering it. (As a side note, I was surprised to find that it worked perfectly from the first use. I was expecting to need to prime the pump multiple times, but this wasn't the case. Then again, maybe that was because I was using straight water.)I've got a sort of love-hate relationship with the light that comes on when you use it. It makes sense to have it flash for assurance that it's functioning normally (or to signal it needs batteries if it's not). However, I find it too bright when I have to use it in the middle of the night. I've trained myself to close my eyes before triggering it, and that's a good compromise for me.One thing I definitely don't care for is the small about of base exposed at the bottom -- this is the part you need to unscrew to fill it with soap. I've got relatively small hands, so it's a bit tricky for me to grip it securely enough to twist it off. However, that's a pretty minor inconvenience.Another reviewer says that this product 'dispenses with authority,' which made me laugh, but it's true - it's a strong burst. However, it probably only seems that way to me because I use Dr. Bronner's Castille Soap, which is mixed with water and results in a thin product. At first, I was getting too much soap even at the lowest setting, but I just kept adding more water until I found the optimal mix. The force of the dispenser is such that the soap comes out rather sudsy, but I don't mind that at all. If you use a thicker soap, it will probably be just right or very close to it for you. While the design isn't my favorite, the dispenser is easy to clean, and I've not seen any signs of clogging in the nozzle despite heavy use.The only other issue I had concerned receiving my delivery. I got it just fine, but somehow Amazon's system marked it as late, and I wound up contacting the company to assure them that I did receive it. The agent was very helpful and assured me that he would take care of it. That's not the seller's fault; I only mention it here because my card was charged, and I want to make sure the seller got paid.Although I was half expecting this device to not work or die an early death like other brands have been reported to do, I'm pleasantly surprised by how this one is working. It's only been one month, but I'm cautiously optimistic that I'll get my money's worth out of this.

Good. Patience required
I love this automatic soap dispenser. It's sleek and beautiful and works great with thick and creamy moisturizing soap. I gave it 4 stars because the directions are difficult to understand, and the black on black lock /unlock buttons are hard to see without extremely bright light. Also, when it's brand new, you have to activate the sensor MANY times before it actually starts pumping out soap. I think I tried it a good 20+ times before it worked. I almost gave up and thought that I received a defective model, but it works great.

Perfect soap dispenser for home☺
I found this an amazing dispenser. I did have to prime the unit with.water prior to adding soap to purge any air in the line. This is an attractive unit with a green light that flashes each time it dispenses soap. Very easy to add batteries ( 4 triple.A batteries). A soap container inserts into the base of the unit and is easy to fill. Holds a generous amount of soap. Dispenses three amounts of soap that should satisfy any user. The least amount of of solution was perfect for me. Dispenses with a sense of authority.😀

Don't buy it.
I thought this sounded great - you can supposedly adjust the amount of soap you want to use from the dispenser. Great for washing dishes and not wasting a lot of product. So - when it arrived I put in the soap - read the instructions to say adding water decreases the viscosity of the soap making it easier to dispense - so I did that. Got it all set to go and literally? The light was on but no one was home. Nothing. Zip, zero, zilch. Didn't work. No sound from the pump, nothing. So I put in a return and gave them a second chance to get it right by ordering another. The machine itself is nice looking, sleek, and seemed like it would work. The second one arrived. Lights were on, sound from the pump - and ONE lousy dispensing of soap and it didn't ever work again. So, they both have been returned. Sorry to whomever it may be that has made this product - but it is ridiculously inferior. Don't buy it. Find something else. And Amazon - you should stop selling this. It's garbage.

Super convenience
Bought the soap dispenser for the bathroom of the new apartment. The sensor is sensitive, and the amount of soap that dispenses each time is adjustable. The best part of the dispenser is it solves the leaking problem which most non-automatic dispensers will have, really helps to keep the washbasin clean.

Avoid!
Purchased this dispenser and it did not work. I activated the motion sensor 50 times after seeing some other customers had trouble activating it. It did not work, even after changing the batteries twice and diluting the dishwashing liquid. Also the design itself of this item is awful- it’s fairly large and the batteries are extremely difficult to remove from the bottom piece.

Great touchless dispenser, super convenience
This touchless automatic sensor soap dispenser operate very well, It's very convenient for me that only put my hands underneath the sensor, it works, And you can adjust the volume based on your need. There is not any messy drips or water stains that looks dirty, and the LED indicator can show if it's on. The sleek and fashion design fits on my bathroom, I 'll buy another one for my kitchen.100% recommendation.

Great touchless dispenser - easy setup!
Pretty intuitive little gadget, setup took less than 2 minutes, puts out the perfect amount of soap on setting 2. Just bought 2 more for the other bathrooms.
